waynepunkdude
I have been given an awesome project to work on '60 years of music' to coincide with the queen's jubilee, it should be great, we need to do 3 songs from each decade, so far we have 50's: Elvis - Hound Dog 60's The Beatles - ? Otis Redding - Sitting on the Dock of the Bay Ray Charles - Hit the Road Jack 70's Led Zepplin - Stairway to Heaven 80's Michael Jackson - Billie Jean Blue Brothers - Soul Man 90's RHCP - Under the Bridge Oasis - Wonderwall Take That - ? 00's Brittany Spears - Toxic White Stripes - 7 Nation Army Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood 10's Adele - Rumours Can you guys help on the missing ones, also I'd like to play upright on the 50's ones. RhysP
For the 70's ones what about David Bowies "Ziggy Stardust" (easy & great fun to play) & a punkier one, something like The Buzzcocks "Ever Fallen In Love With Someone (You Shouldn't have Fallen In Love With)"? What about a nice bit of Level 42 for one of the 80's ones? Edited April 16, 2012 by RhysP

gilmour
I find it odd that Soul Man is in the 80's ? I know the film is from then but the tune is from the the mid/late 60's I'd find it hard to resist playing God Save the Queen for the 70s Live and let die would be a good 70s none if you want a rock anthem
