Filling in screw holes from pick guard ?

I was having a few 'vibe' troubles from my Farida today, so I did the obvious things first, such as tried to tighten the screws of the pick guard. (a few were loose) Then I thought I'd see how it was with the PG taken off. After I'd done this and the noise had gone away, I wondered if I should leave it off.

So I thought I might try it 'Au natural' for a time and see how I liked it. But the screw holes seem to be eyeing me accusingly, so I think I will fill them in. No problem to re drill later if I change my mind.

But now we come to the problem. How is the best way to fill them in. They don't actually need to be invisible, just not so easily seen from afar.

Can anyone help with any tips ?

What about getting some black screws and screwing all the screws back in without the pickguard.
That could look pretty cool!
