shaggy_boo
I have for sale a 1979L6 Lemmy signature cab, which i purchased from Richtone music shop in Sheffield. The shop informed me that Lemmy had apparently once owned the cab and it had been stored in the wearhouse. These cabs are very rare in the UK and have not come accross one at all on the internet. It also has on the back for promotional use only not for resale which by that alone will make it collectable. I cannot find a retail price for it in England but they are for sale in America for $2400 but are reduced to $1799. The cab is in mint condition and sounds awsome. The only reason I am selling it is because it wont fit into the van with the rest of our equipment. I have attached some information from the internet below. Cash on collection.. Buyer to collect but can deliver withing a 30 mile radius. If you need any more information you can contact me on 07817763483 Been on the phone today with Marshall amps technical department to find out a bit more about these cabs and apparantly they where never made for general sale and the open market, they where made especialy for certain artists, did not go into too much detail but Lemmy was one of them. This is why on the back of the cab it says for promotional use only not for resale and they have no idea how these leaked out. Hope this shines a bit bit more light on it. Like I said earlier this makes it a very collectable and rare cab

OzzyGreg
Curiousity got the better of me, having never seen or heard of this cab. Found a picture of one: Interesting that there is provision on top for the addition of another one of these monsters!

shaggy_boo
Its £500 or very nearest offer which I think is a reasonable price for it because like I said it is a very rare cab

Big_Stu
The Lemmy stack was for sale to anyone who got in there first, they didn't have to be a "name". No freebies (I tried), even Lemmy paid for his as did Slash his. Though I was told that they were making far less cabs than they were sig heads in the Lemmy range. These are some Lemmy cabs being covered in the factory; fantastic to watch, their hands were a blur.
bertbass
Marshall 4 x 15 cabs used to be quite common in the 70s and a pair of 4x15s stacked used to dwarf a normal 4x12 stack. Nice! Edited October 5, 2011 by bertbass
aheitl
I'm glad it is too far away. This would look lovely in the living room. ;-) (Not very practical to transport I'm afraid.)
algmusic
does it come with a lorry to transport it? Mind you it would be great fun Edited October 17, 2011 by algmusic
