It has to be solid state power section.
If you think a Mesa 400+ is only 300 watts and it has 12 6l6's in the output stage.
It would be the size of a small house and weigh the same lol.

They already do a 430 watt all valve little bastard which is the 427 - [url="http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.asp?section=valve&ID=230"]http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.as...alve&ID=230[/url] and thats the weight and size of a house, imagine therefore this must be class D or solid state to be the same size as an LB30, think this could be very cool by the sound of it, love my LB30, one with 550 watts will be monstrous!
