I have a Mazeti 5-string fretless. Jolly nice it is too, I'd be quite tempted at the idea of a 7-string version.

It is a tad expensive so it's a good job they've put loads of info about it and pics up isn't it?

And what little you can see doesn't inspire confidence.

The 4-in-line tuners on the bass side are neither in a straight line, nor do they follow the curve of the headstock. They appear to have been drilled more-or-less at random.

The tuners look as if they're in the same place as for [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=510"]this inlaid Mazeti[/url]. Build quality on mine is fine. And I dropped the seller a message to ask if it was a typo and she said she was selling it for her boyfriend who had told her what to put. I'm sure there's a smutty joke to be had from that involving the definition of an inch but I'll not be the one to make it.

Ask yourself this question: If you had a bass worth this much would you trust someone else to ebay it for you? Something doesn't stack up with this, I'd proceed with extreme caution.

Anybody who does proceed needs their bumps felt, they're sub-£500 new. Hence my thinking it was a somewhat optimistic price. If they take the "2" off the front, that would be rather more realistic.
