iconic Posted November 29, 2010 Share Posted November 29, 2010 This is quite wierd for me as, I like the bass as a lead instrument slapping 'n shaking the walls! ...but found this and thought, this guy can really play....sooooo smooooooth... nice old Fender Jazz by the look of it...JEROME RIMSON so says the vid....I've never heard of him? Have a listen to the 'Live in Hamburg' LP if you can (surely one of the best live albums of all time), some wonderful bass going on and in quite a different style to the above sample. JTUK Posted December 1, 2010 Share Posted December 1, 2010 I have a memorable Live Roger Chapman gig on vinyl and Rimson is fantastic on it. His style on that was very Rocco Prestia with chops, IMO.
