1. Stunning bass. Just checked out your website. I am now going to give up calling myself a bass player and adopt the name of random/sometimes in tune/time string puller. BTW I will have to pull out my bass player magazine with you in it. I recognized your sadowsky!!
2. Oooo that looks like a funking nice machine. Is it bolt on neck? How does it sound? Maybe up for trade of anything in my sig. If not good luck with the sale.
3. Always wanted one of these. Have a bump.
4. Withdrawn for now, cant bear to regret selling this.
5. Offers? Could do with a small combo
6. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/174955-john-taylor-duran-duran-isolated-bass-track-to-rio/ Nicked from Noelk27s aria sb600 post. This is how mine sounds. But it is funny that when played in a band situation the sound of the bass sits high in the mix and is very noticable. It may sound a bit "ugly" to some by itself, but when playing along with other instruments it sounds awesome. We play Rio and it sounds stonking when played with this.
7.
I'm stunned! the swr 750x for £200 are you insane? feck I paid £700 for one some years ago! It is the most articulate amp I have ever owned! good luck andy
Im stunned nobody has snapped it up! BTW its not a 750x, its pre fender, just named 750 im sure. Quite right though, a very articulate beast indeed. Priced for a sale, not to sit about not being used guys, nothing wrong with this amp.
8.
I am so so tempted to buy this NV610 back.
Schroeder out berg in? I will even drop it round your house dave. Although its no smaller since you sold it to me.
9. I never thought it was misrepresented. When i bought it, i immediately played it at a gig and was blown away by the presence of the sound. That is ultimately what i an looking for, be it an encore or dingwall. I am glad that it is being clarified for anyone who is interested in it. I would be happy to be advised on what the value of the bass should be. As i said in the OP i am happy to keep it. Thanks for all the input so far guys.
10. SB Elite II? Can i be enlightened? The problem with people pointing out the nice things about this guitar, make me not want to sell it. But thanks for helping.
11. I am glad you have clarified the pups ray. Is a beauty for sure. And i know i am going to regret moving it on, but my band has split and i need to get rid.
12. Due to the interest in splitting, cab 725 and amp now 200

14.
Lovely looking bass......with the Nordy's and aguilar pre it must sound great. Is it just me or is the E string anchored in a strange spot on the bridge.....
Wondered if someone would spot that. Didnt think it would be the first post! It has just slipped out of position. I shall put it right and post a new pic.
15. Not sure i will let this one go, but will see what the interest it attracts. Give it some Duran Duran with this in your hands. It has a monster gnarly,, piano-clangging cut through any mix sound. I have used this with light strings on and it plays so fast! It has the most distinctive sound of any bass i have owned. The singer in my band was not very happy when i started to play my 5 stringer in preference to this. I can see why-coz this has a very very barky tone, Where my KZ5 was tamer but more bass rounded- whatever that means? It has a tapered neck Two pups with volume for each, tone and two switches that do something but i keep them on one setting only which gives it a fuller sound. It is paduak red thru-neck. Someone before me has routed a hole for a third pup. Its been done well and an alembic pup should fall straight in there. I have not seen the need to do this. but it would cover the hole. On the back, when drilling out for the lugs, they have gone through and i have shown the damage in the photos Bought from Basslondon a few years back. Awesome sounding passive bass. http://basschat.co.u...s-track-to-rio/ £350 Collection testing from portsmouth. Will post at cost. 16. Solid beautiful bass which i am very sad to see go. But i am not playing any more so i need to find all my gear a new home. This has been my first choice bass since i bought this off RayFW a couple of years back. Beautiful solid maple neck and fretboard. Neck is "C" shape Stays in tune very well. Has an awesome 18v cuircuit which gives whatever you want. Bass and treble cut/boost and pull/push turn for low/high mids. Pick up pan selector and volume. 35" scale (i love this) All stings have a very tight feel, which makes this a dream to play. There seems to be no marks to finish that i can see. Mahogany body with translucent cherry finsh & matching headstock The bass comes with Nordstrand pups and an Aguilar preamp with i did not install, but i am very pleased that it is there. Hiscox hardcase supplied also the original pups which are colour co-ordinated to the colour of the bass. This bass has a real feel of quality to it, i would suggest much more than the price tag leads you to believe. It is in the same league as stingrays and MIA jazz and Ps for sure. My opinion- Better. £550 Collection/testing in Portsmouth. will post at cost. 17. Poss trade on small combo, ie GK 700rbII or similar. SWR 750w Bass amp with Groove tube 12ax7 in the pre. I hope Dubs doesnt mind me using his link for this. http://basschat.co.u...__1#entry830613 It has a Groove tube 12ax7 at the front end Onto a gain control with clip led Next "aural enhancer", which seems to cut the mids and "warm" up the sound. Bass control which has a TURBO boost pull and turn function. I may add a go faster stripe for the buyer. The mid controls have a level and frequency dial between 200-800mhz Treble control with a pull and turn for transparency Effects blend is next Limiter next. On board compression i guess. Though i have never used it. Master volume. Speaker on/off switch Power switch. On the back Rack has 4 extention plugs Ground lift dial DI output Big fan Preamp out Effects loop Headphones out Speakers out jack/speakon. Power cable Protective fuse. Good amp, has not gone wrong once. Lots of gigs. Have never had it serviced, but would be willing to have it done if the "right deal" can be agreed.
