1.
There was a short discussion on here a few months ago about having something around the Stirling or Falkirk. I'd still be up for this on a Saturday preferably (church on Sunday here too). If folk are interested, I'll have a query about venues as I'm in Falkirk every weekend. I've wanted to go to the Moffat bash since hearing of them (aka joining here) but every time its collided with something else.
Wheres Moffat???? Stirling might be ok or falkirk. I think we should have one in ayrshire
 2. I heard that a P bass sounds pretty dull?? Is that true?
 3.
Ooh this old chestnut. A P/J solves the tone dilemma (up to a point) the width of neck is another matter altogether and more likely to influence your decision. What do you prefer wide or narrow?
I like a slim neck but not too fussy.
 4. I think the title says it all
 5. Just realised he took the pictures off the topic... Any help Tom???
 6. I just recently bought a Tokai Rockinbetter with real ric hardware off of TOM1946 which already indicates how great the bass's condition is. I hope he doesnt mind me using his previous topic for pictures. The bass is in the same condition as i got it, great condition. Thanks in advance Alex p.s. i bought the bass for £425 only a couple of weeks ago so hoping to sell for same price as its in same condition etc. EDIT- PICS ARE IN THIS LINK BELOW THANKS ( yes caps were needed ) http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...&hl=karlfer

 12. Just done another deal with Tom, this time with an amp. Absolutely immaculate and it took me about 10 mins to slice my way through the packaging. Great genuine trustworthy bloke. Even though he got my second name wrong on the post... Alex

 14. Everything is more cheerier over the border. We dont have bad epiphone t-bird sellers in Scotland. We replaced them with haggis *"Scotland the Brave" starts playing*
 15. I sold james (Jam) my Yamaha RBX4 A2 this week and he was very very prompt with payment and a genuine trustworthy bloke. Would happily do business with him again. Alex

 17.
Alex just bought my Rockinbetter Rickenfaker and as Jam says he's very helpful indeed, lot's of pm's so we alsways knew where we were. Happy to deal again, (in fact we are dealing again with an amp) Thanks mate, enjoy the bass!
18. The rickenfaker tom sold me has just arrived and its in great nick. He was a real pleasure to deal with, good comms and he included a strap and spare strings ( and plectrums but im not a pleccy guy sorry tom). Thank u very much. Alex
 19.
Right then, made contact with Bass_guardian regarding his Yamaha RBX a2 (now mine, I might add) and he was more than helpful. We sent messages back and forth, exchanged texts and when I decided to buy it he was very quick to provide contact details and to put my mind at ease. Payment was made Monday night, and he got the bass in the post yesterday at 4pm. Arrived this morning in Oxford at about 9:20 all the way from Scotland. Bass was very well packed in its case (it took me about 10 minutes to get through all the paper and bubble wrap). The bass itself was also wrapped, with the strings downtuned. I don't have an amp here at work but the bass looks in great condition and exactly as he showed it. Good lad, thanks again!
