1. wow...didn't expect such a good response to this! Thanks guys!.... Just to be clear, I wasn't haveing a pop at the shop for how much they are sellong it for - i fully appreciate it must be tough to compete with a markeyt such as BassChat! Can't believe I hadn't seen JMT's for sale thread, I thought i'd done a search! would potentially be very interested in it! Anyhow, I appreciate the response.....what are the pups like in them?...I currently have a set of Nordy NJ4SV's and or a set of wizard 64's I could put in it.....do you think that would make it more sensible for me to get a mex or Jap fender jazz and just convert? surely it wouldn'y sound quite the same if I retro fitted a stack knob plate would it? (sorry if that's a really stupid thing to ask)! D
2. Hey Guys, Just wandering if anyone here has any experience of or owns a '62 reissue Jazz bass (stack knob)? I'm really keen to try one again. I very briefly played about with one a few years back and really liked the idea of the concentric controls, it's been lingering ever since... So anyway, I notice there is one at the Bass Gallery (has been for quite a while), however it's priced at £1200, which seems a little steep as, having looked about a bit they seem to be going for about 1400 new! Is that the right sort of price for a used reissue?! Of course then I thought, if I'm willing to spend 1200 on the reissue I might as well pay 1500 for the '73 Jazz bass they have in there! (even though it's got a Badass routed into it which I'm not keen on)! Anyways, opinions and experiences would be hugely welcomed! Thanks in advance Dave
3. When is issue 3 coming out? surely it's pretty late seeing as the last one came out in December (I think)?
4. Just been to try this bass out. beautiful sound! really punchy E string...not quite for me unfortunately.... This will make someone a very happy bassist though! Si is a very nice guy and know his stuff about Fenders for sure! (decent cup of tea as well)! D

14. Bit random I know but hear me out..... Having just sold my markbass head on here I suddenly had a thought, is it standard practice to give the buyer the kettle lead with the amp head or would it not be expected?! I know this seems like a stupid question, but i haven't ever sold a head on here before! Advice appreciated! Dave
15.
As someone who is very particular about my gear, Dave is one of the few people I would lend my gear to, I know him well... Yes it's been it's been gigged lot (FT player), but very well looked after. I've seen it, heard it, and played through it many times and it's great and in a good condition. You do know the thing with a rip isn't the amp
Thanks Adrian, you're too kind! This is now sold I think, pending the normal stuff... Thanks for all your interest guys.....From Tuesday I will be a Genz Shuttle man! D

24. If your moving on to flats for the first time try the GHS Brite flats....really great sounding strings, picked up the light gauge recently (45-98) they sound great on my MIJ '62 reissue P.. Ended up using them on the majority of an album session I was on at the weekend, you get the nice warm thump on the E but keep the brightness on the D and G...comes across very well indeed! D
25. It was withdrawn. However I actually ended up selling it to Dave (LowRegisterHead) just this afternoon! D
