I'll cut a long story short here, why don't Ashdown reply to my emails regarding a transformer burnout on one of their amps!?!? I have a ABM 500 EVO II which i have used for many years. However, the transformer burntout during a recent soundcheck. I have asked them for the price of a replacement transformer. I don't want a freebie i will gladly stump up the cash if they still actually supply that particular part!! It's like pulling teeth!! Mild rant over...any advice on getting hold of a replacement transformer would be appreciated.

Hi all, This has more than likely been asked a thousand time before so apologies in advance. I have a 1985 Washburn Force series B-42 headless with red binding. The bass is somewhat road worn and weighs a ton, however, it plays beautifully and the neck profile is very jazz like. It is fitted with bridge and neck soap bar pups, both original Washburn passives, 3 way selector switch, front / back vols and tone. Is it possible / safe introduce an active circuit to the existing pups??

Hi all, Due to unexpected and catastrophic engine failure on my car i need to move this on to pay for repair. The bass has on small paint chip to lower outer edge of body which i have dabbed in with Laguna blue colour match, it also fitted with a new set of Payson strings, never raced nor rallied. Apart from the paint chip the bass is in top condition, neck is true and all electronics are functional. Currently Tuned B,E,A,D,G action nice and low. A huge range of tones are achievable and the fanned fret set up is very comfortable and natural...do not be afraid! Cheers Paul, the NG-2 has really filled out our live sound and i love the playability, i also get a lot less slop with the lower tunings. I may just be blinded by new bass acquisition but it's great at drowning out the guitarists 7 string Jackson!

Spector Euro 5LX in black stain with optional black hardware, fitted with adjustable Tonepump. Apart from the slight paint wear under the B string saddle height adjustment screws the bass is flawless. ( a dab of black paint will correct this). No dings scratches or scrapes are visible, trussrod is good and neck is true. All electronics are functional and also without issue. Stunning finish highlighting the flame maple top. Recently strung with D'addario strings.
