These are sitting in my cupboard gathering dust. A set of EMG JV pickups. Opened but unused. All pots and cables still sealed. £85 posted Postage will be extra and I would prefer to send by at least recorded, if not Special Delivery to protect both of us! <script src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/e50a6ea/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Free to a good home. A pair of Peavey pa speakers. Side fills for your drummer? 15 inch Black Widow drivers 8" (?) mid range and horn tweeters. A bit battered around the edges. Speakon connectors retro-fitted. Working well, not sure what power rating but I used to chuck a couple of hundred watts in, no bother! Buyer collects from Loughborough but please ask as I travel around a bit so we may be able to sort something out for the price of a few pints! Price dropped to £550 or offers My MIM Fender 70's Jazz up for grabs. I bought this new about four years ago and considering it has been gigged fairly regularly it is in remarkable condition. I can only see the smallest of surface dents in the body, the neck is unmolested. It has had several mods made to the bass. 1. EMG JV pickups 2. EMG BTC system: Volume, pan, concentric bass and treble, all run from 18v (Two quick access 9v battery holders round the back. 3. Babicz FCH bridge. A gynourmous improvement on the original BBOT! 4. Hipshot drop d tuner. The baseplate of this was ground away on the edge adjacent to the A tuner by the chap I bought the d-tuner from. The tuner plate (the bit that revolves on detuning) is unmarked and operation is unaffected. You cannot see the mod with the tuner assembled. It's a dream to play, the neck is a beauty but I've recently bought a '93 Sterling and a Wilko Telecaster so if my wife finds I'm not sticking to the one in, one out rule, I'm dead meat. Sold! Ta very much! Anyone fancy a Fender American Special Precision bass? I need to shift a couple of basses before my wife finds my new Musicman and kills me. I've had this a couple of years since I bought it form Richtone in Sheffield. In that time I've fitted a Badass ii bridge and a Hipshot extender. Its got a few battle scars (mainly buckle rash from the previous owner) and a small dink to the back of the neck (behind the g string, between the 3rd and 4th frets) when it lost a battle with a cymbal. It's got a fantastic neck profile, very easy to play and the satin finish is nicely run in. 4.2 kgs according to the bathroom scales. If you fancy a bit of that late 70's punk or new wave vibe or a touch of the Roger Waters (you can get cream for it) go on, treat y S

This amp has a story attached to it. A couple of years ago my beloved AH300-12 blew up mid gig so I found this on Ebay to keep me ticking over until I repaired my 12 band. After I was satisfied that my 12 band was firing on all 12 cylinders, I listed this on BC and a very nice chap by the name of Deedee bought it off me. Fast forward a year or so and once again mid gig, my 12 band decides to give up. This time it was the mains transformer that gave up the ghost! In a flap I scoured the forums and found that Deedee had put up the 7 band for sale as he'd bought a new head. A couple of texts and a wad of notes later and I was once again the proud owner! I've now had a brand new transformer wound by Demeter (original manufacturers) for my 12 band and now feel confident (touching wood/cloth) that she won't let me down again. So does anyone fancy my 7 band? It's in great condition, has the 300 watt Mosfet board and has had the circuit mod to the front panel illumination circuit. The front will glow green all night! Carpet covering is in good order. All working well, sounds warm, rich and loud. I shall miss it. Comes with a fitted Roqsolid soft case. I can post at cost but a meet up would be better. I travel around a fair bit so we could sort something out! <script src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/d4e112d0/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Trace Elliot GP11 MkV - is there a thermal overload light?
Fettsman replied to Shylock's topic in Repairs and Technical
I've had a look on the schematic for the mk 5 and there's nothing that looks like a thermal protection circuit of any sort. Sounds like it could be either a ropey joint getting worse as things warm up or a component failing at temperature. Give me a shout if you want a copy of the service manuals. Cheers Andrew -
Likewise, I've had several covers off them. All have been good fits, well made and did their job perfectly!
