  1. Anybody fancy a great sounding classic nineties British amp on a Tuesday evening bump?
  2. I make it 60mm from E to G.
  3. Pickups gone now, just the Badass II. Anybody?
  4. PS sent you a PM!
  5. A few oddments from the shed: First off a Baddass II bridge, this was on my fretless Jazz for a few months until I replaced it with a Babicz. Comes with screws. [attachment=126223:_DSC5450.jpg] £65 posted. Paypal gift would be fine. Cheers Andrew
  6. Just a thought, how about a Musicman Sterling? The American one.
  7. Sorry, my aging frame loves my EBS Reidmar and Classic Cabs. Everytime I spark up the Trace, I wish my back was twenty years younger!!!
  8. It may well be electroluminescent for all I know. It's a long time since I took A level physics!!! Funnily enough I need warming up before I work properly.
  9. Basically the panel has a few leds in it (the whole panel is a stick on label) that give up the ghost after a while. It's not the circuit providing the power. All the front panel switches are fine, it's just the backlit graphics. I don't think there are any spares in the country but British Audio Services across the pond do have them. The lights do come on but some days they go after ten minutes, sometimes they stay on indefinitely. If you're not bothered about the lights it's still a fantastic amp. Everything else works just as good as the day it was born!
  10. Found the scales, found a battery to replace the flat one, weighed them, 36 pounds. That's just over 16 kilos in modern parlance. Not back breaking!
  11. I'll stick it on the scales, if I can find them!
  12. Time for a little nudge to the top?
  13. My dreams of standing in front of my dream green stack have been usurped by the joys of a lightweight EBS rig. This is sitting in the cupboard and getting in the way. In the interests of domestic etc etc, it's got to go. It's a 12 band AH300 built in July 1999. Everything is working beautifully with the exception of the front panel illumination which has good days and bad days. The footswitch is included which has a few scruffs and scratches but it's spent it's working life being stepped on. The amp was serviced by EMS in 2011 courtesy of the previous owner. All output devices replaced, rebuild of fan stage and everything stripped and rebuild. Should go on for years. Instruction manuals and service diagrams included. Open to offers of trade in the four string Fender department but not much else really, try me though, you never know. Otherwise postage arranged at cost. Cheers Andrew
  14. My Mark 3 Mondeo estate (along with previous hatchbacks) takes a large bass cass width ways with ease, I had a VW mark 4 golf estate and whilst the boot was cavernous it was a few inches narrower so the basses travelled on the back seat on view. Also Mondeo TDCi more than capable of 50+ to the gallon if you don't drive like an idiot!
  15. Just got back from the premiere! Bloody hell it was good, the three of them were on stage to introduce and the atmosphere was fantastic.
  16. No worries here. A good man!
  17. I bought a sheet of similar grippy stuff at Halfords for £3.99. Stops your 'phone sliding across your dashboard if you take a corner enthusiastically. It also stopped my new Reidmar from vibrating off the top of my cabs tonight and we were giving it some hammer too! Night all!
  18. I should also add that the power socket has been changed for a standard Boss sized one. Still needs 18v up it but a little more convenient!
  19. For sale Trace Elliot SM7EQ pedal. Good condition all working perfectly, the eq sliders are a bit on the stiff side but work fine. In original box. [attachment=110299:_DSC2440.jpg][attachment=110300:_DSC2441.jpg][attachment=110301:_DSC2442.jpg]
  20. A gentle nudge to the top to reflect the modifications to my original post!
  21. and dutifully replied to!
  22. Open to offers of trades, parts, pickups, fx, basses even but not cabs.
