1.
PM'd.
Bass now on hold.
2. Up for sale is my lovely Lakland. Sadly has to go to fund non bass related rubbish but thats life! Just about the best 'P' Bass I've ever played, the other being my old Duck Dunn. This bass is from 2005, Korian made with a Fralin pickup. Its in very good condition. No dinks and only very minor surface scratches here and there. Neck is perfect, 42mm at the nut and very shallow. The bass is very light weight. I'd guess around the 8Lbs mark. I have no accurate means of weighing it but by a long way its the lightest Precision I've owned. I took the tort plate off and fitted a vintage white one, the bass will come with both scratch plates. I dont have a hard case for it so I'm not posting. I'm happy to meet within reasonable distance from Telford. I'm sometimes in Bristol at weekends. I'm asking for £550 firm and no trades, sorry. Any questions fire away! Cheers.
3. Bought some strings off Fatguy recently. No problems what so ever! Again, nice guy!
4.
I know
Can I have first dibbs Mike?

11. Bargain! Thats a great bass for the £££
12. I'd hang out for a secondhand Genz Neox and save yourself a bundle!
13. Good review.
14. This is one truly beautiful bass. I managed to get my grubby mits on her when Peter was the owner. Wish I had the dosh!
15. I'll take the mint green one if its still going? Already have a tort!
16. Bought Peters lovely Ibanez SR1000 Real friendly guy to deal with. Gladly put the bass on hold for me, delivered it promptly and VERY securely with excellent communications throughout! I'd certainly be happy to deal with again. Many thanks!
17. Jamie is the guy who has always done my guitar tech work. He had a shop in Shifnal Shropshire but now works from his home. He probably makes more of his custom guitars than basses. The guitarist in my band playes one of his 'Telecasters' and it is superb. Even as a non guitar playing bassist I still know a decent guitar when I see one! I have played one of his basses which was a Jazz copy. It was fine, sounded and felt like a good Jazz should (Precision guy myself)! And yes he has made guitars for the Quo! He showed me one that he'd made recently and it was very nice. I have seen pictures of the Quo gigging with his guitars. Nice bloke and good bassist too!
18. My Skyline Bob Glaub. Dose everything a good Precision should!
19.
Disagree, I think JIAB makes a good point, he wants £700 for a bass and I think he has made the damage sound a lot worse in the other thread. If I bought the bass then found that the neck needed replacing I would not be happy.
Sorry - but +1
20.
Alternatively, it's been properly looked after rather than being carried around in a bin-bag and used to hammer tent pegs in. The blowtorch-and-sander "professional" relickers should be forced to take a good hard look at what a 50 year old bass can look like.
21. Really nice guy to sell a bass to. No problems at all. Cheers Ale!
22. I wonder if he'd swap it for some bloody socks and lynx deodorant? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1e69a66833 I'll message him!
