1.
Why the quick sale? if you dont mind me asking.
Don't mind at all. Decided on a custom build and, as my existing basses cover my 4 string needs...last in first out.
2. Putting this back up for sale. Looking to sell my very recent acquisition of an ACG Recurve 4. It's a one piece Black Limba body with a Satin Finish and a Black Limba/Wenge 5 piece neck. Acrylic Impregnated Birdseye Maple finger board with no radius. Hipshot Type A bridge,Ultralite tuners,Schaller strap locks. ACG RFB into an ACG EQ2 3K/S. Low battery indicator. This is a delight to play with a very smooth, slim neck (think Jazz) a huge tonal range that, with a bit of experimentation, you can get a sound to suit you. Ignore anything anyone has ever said about having difficulties with a filter pre amp, this is fantastic and time spent learning how it works really does pay off. More details and pics from: http://www.acguitars...uk/Gallery/232/ The bass is light at just under 8lbs. It comes with a hard case, tools and guide to the pre amp. I'll also include a ramp I had made, from the black limba which can be attached with double sided tape. Only considering selling as I want to fund a custom build. Looking to sell this to a pair of loving hands, so I'm asking Really do need to move this on fairly quickly.
3.
As it happens, my wife had apoplexy when i said I was about to sell it (it's obviously becomning a family heirloom) so temporarily it's withdrawn from sale and I'll have to sell a kidney or a tonsil to pay for the daughter's uni fees. Thanks for the interest and sorry to mess you about. S
Great decision! Keep it because you will only regret selling and constantly think about 'that' Sei you once loved...
4.
Would anyone know if the neck twist thing is a major issue ?
Depends whether the twist is even along the neck. It is also worth finding if the neck has a single or double truss rod as this will have an impact on the cause/cure of the problem. It's worth getting a luthier's (Martin) opinion prior to purchase. Even so, it's a damn good price and well worth a punt
5. Superb bass. Just taking the hammer to the piggy bank. Will be in touch when I've finished counting pennies...
6. No, my comment was in support of a sale and in support of a fellow bass player. Previous comments were, in the very least unhelpful. If a comment needs to be made about lack of clarity or ambiguity then surely a polite PM would be more helpful than filling a thread with negative chat. I won't respond further as I am obviously in danger of filling a 'sale' thread with chat ;0))))
7. Just gotta say Pierre is a great guy to deal with so buy/trade in total confidence. Also have to say that there is a 'General duscussion' section for 'chat' and this is a sale/trade section!! Also have to agree that a PM tends to get answered quickly as it notifies your email, whilst general chatty comments are only available once you visit your thread. As most of us are generally busy folk, continually browsing your thread in anticipation of a 'comment' isn't a priority. No doubt get some flak for the comments...
8. Lee bought a set of East control knobs from me. Instant payment, great comms. Pleasure to deal with.
9. I have two sets of Hennessey Black Straplocks. These are fantastic and are some of the best I've ever used. These strap locks are brand new and are just sitting on the shelf waiting for their chance to be on stage I'll sell each set of strap locks for £10 including postage. Buy both sets for £18 inc postage to UK mainland. Details here: http://www.onstagestands.com/specsheets/Guitar%20Stands%20and%20Accessories/NSL7200.pdf
10. These are brand new John East control knobs in black. There are two stacked and three single knobs. I bought them a few weeks ago but changed my mind and kept the original control knobs on my bass. As a result these knobs are no longer required. The details are: LOWER KNOB •Diameter: 20.0mm •Height: 11.5mm •For Shaft Diameter: 8.0mm UPPER KNOB •Diameter: 15.0mm •Height: 12.0mm •For Shaft Diameter: 6.0mm SINGLE KNOB •Diameter: 17.5mm •Height: 15.0mm •For Shaft Diameter: 6.0mm If you go to http://www.east-uk.com/ search under products for knobs and you'll see the pictures and technical stuff. The cost to me was £6.44 for the singles and £9.60 for the stacked: £38.52 in total. I will sell them for £25including postage.

Phil also bought my brand new cover for the Mesa cab. All round great guy.
12. This needs little introduction! I need to get rid of one of effects units and, as the HD300 seems reluctant to leave, I'm offering up my GT6. It's in great condition, has everything you need for all those sounds you've dreamt of and more! Comes with a Gator gig bag and manual. Plenty of reviews available and you don't need me to show you what they look like - they're red with Boss written on 'em! ;0))
13. BUmp for trade option. Looking for a lightweight combo of similar quality. Either Genz, EBS, Markbass etc.
14. Looking to sell my Mesa Scout Combo. It's in mint condition and sounds absolutely fantastic - producing a stunning range of sounds and handles a low B easily! Can't fault the sound at all, with the amp section producing such a variety of sounds that'll keep anyone happy This is the 4ohm, 12" version, meaning that you get the full 300w at your disposal. You can link another cab with it, and there is plenty of discussion on this site about that. Loads of details at: http://www.mesaboogi...t/WalkScout.htm And a review here: http://www.mesaboogi...outScout-GB.htm The Scout comes complete with the original Mesa protective cover and manual. The Scouts cost around £1350 new, but I'm happy to let this go for
