Absolute bargain (I really have to resist buying more of Scooby's basses!)
Why resist? As they say "you can't take it with you" and, apparently, they don't allow gig bags in Heaven (flight case only - something to do with health & safety)

Loz bought my Sei Singlecut. Great guy to talk to, deal with and a real credit to any bass community. Cheers, Loz.

This rig is only a few weeks old and has only been used briefly for a rehearsal. Unfortunately, I'm having to cut back on my gear as a long-term back injury has decided to re-establish itself with vigour! I've just bought a small Genz Benz Shuttle combo, which is ideal for me. The rig consists of an RH450 with the foot-switch, gig bag, two 2x10 cabs with TC covers. As I haven't been able to sell another couple of basses it is with great reluctance that I now have to consider letting the RIM Marseer go to a good home I only got this a few short weeks ago and it hasn't left the house - only being played a couple of times while life took over and kept me very busy! Anyway, the bass is in mint condition now - there was a very tiny dink on the neck, which has been repaired and is virtually invisible (it was only a very tiny mark to begin with). Spec: Chambered flamed maple body with three-piece flame/rock maple/flame through neck, honey buckeye facings, purpleheart accent and name badge and macassar ebony board. Passive custom pickups by Aaron Armstrong wired with 4 way Dingwall switch (neck/both series/both parallel/bridge). The tone is variable from a fat growl to funk and beyond - very versatile. You could, of course have a preamp of your choice as there is plenty of room to do that if required. Superb build quality. Weight is very close to 8lbs, with a string spacing of 16.5mm (adjustable) It has a 40mm top nut and a very low action. The neck is a comfortable shallow C-shape and the fingerboard radius is 12". There is a high quality semi-solid Protection Racket case and a minitorch for the "glow in the dark" side markers.
You gotta love Sei's - and this one looks like a cracker...
Sounds every bit as good as it looks The more I play this the more I think I should keep it! Might give it a couple of days, if nobody shows any interest I'll withdraw it (and for those who are waiting for a price reduction...forget it).

Paul has sent another couple of pics now that the rear and face woods are glued. The walnut, for the rear, with heart and sap wood gives a nice two-tone effect. As for the spalted beech burr face... stunning.
