Paul bought my Roscoe 6. Great guy to deal with, speedy payment and made the whole transaction smooth and easy. Very highly recommended - a credit to Basschat!

Hey are you considering Trades? Lovely Bass!
Not really looking for trades. Just to shift this bass, if anyone wants to pay a cash price of £500 plus shipping - it's a deal
Start putting the price up - that should encourage anyone waiting round for the price to drop...
Smart idea! OK, so the price is now £1501...
I took this very nice Spector Rebop 4DLX in a part ex deal. While it is a great bass, plays superbly and has a broad range of tones, it is surplus to my requirements and deserves a good home. The Spector has been completely set-up with new strings etc. The action is fairly low - can easily be adjusted - 40mm at the top nut and a string spacing of 18mm at the bridge. Just about to put this beauty into its case but thought I'd give someone a last opportunity to make an offer on the Thumb. I will consider a part exchange deal - thanks

Bump for an "extraordinaire" instrument which must find its new groover..
Thanks, Emanew! It is an "extraordinaire" instrument, but I will not insult the Warwick Thumb and resort to 'price drops' (although I expect that is what many people are waiting for!!). It is a great price for a great bass.

I have two 'etc's
They are good for metal too
'etc's' are the thing! Oh, yes, while I'm here... bump
OK, folks. Just seen something that looks as if it may be the answer to my prayers! So, although I'm looking for £1500 cash, if someone wants to make me a quick, serious cash offer you may be surprised at the response
that's what I thought, and then did some research and found out you did get them with the active duncans the ones with the wee rockers on them

Thanks, Luke.

does look amazing. what sorta trades are you interested in?
Trades= quality 4 string or possibly a 5. Sorry to be vague

I need to stop looking at this!
No, this is fine and it won't make you go blind!
looks lovely- btw what do you mean by "the bass has been upgraded to EMG's" - wouldn't the EMG's be stock? or do you mean just the preamp?
The original pick-ups would have been Seymour Duncans (so I'm told). The guy who bought it from new said he found the SD's didn't 'cut it' for him so they were upgraded to EMG's.

Lovely! But then so's the Everson....

Ah, the beauty of wood - and some bits of metal etc etc
A tentative sale/trade as my fretless bass seems reluctant to leave the house for a new home. So, here is my recently acquired Warwick

wow
any ideas on the sound?
HI Fred
Sound-wise, the design brief was to have a very articulate fretless sound. The ebony fingerboard gives an almost piano-like quality to the overall sound. The body woods produce a lovely mid-range tone, growl and mwah mixed ;o) The EMG pre amp allows a quick tweak and you can go from very mellow to almost a steely bite. The neck is very smooth and so slim so it is easy to produce smooth glides! Hope that helps.
