I used to have a black one of these and it still irks me now that I sold it. They are superb - ultra reliable Floyd Rose too which isn't floating and ensures the thing stays in perfect tune. The neck is also probably the most comfortable neck I have ever played on a guitar ever. They really are that good. Considering these aren't made any more I'd snap this one up - the only reason I'm not is that I am broke at the moment
Have to agree - the neck is superb, as is the rest of the guitar
I had a fretless one of these from Garbev, regretted shifting it - best bass of 30 odd!! Massively versatile (vintage tones included), super playable, no backup needed due to passive switch. The quest ends here. If I ever return to bass...no brainer. Value for money and solidly spanks a jazz no matter how old.
Thanks, Schnozzalee. Couldn't agree more! Marleaux basses are superb with great playability - slim neck profile, comfortable and sounds that other basses can only dream about ;0)) There are a couple of trade offers in the mix but if someone wants to make me a cash offer then let me know.
Case of 'London buses', I'm in talks over another bass to replace my Streamer which is leaving this week. Had I not been engaged to spend that cash already, I would have had this straight away!
"London Buses" ?? NO, this is a Number 95OW9015 all the way from Santa Rosa, USA - they only run every few months or so
