  1. Don't be afraid to play Alembics. Mine have a few dings. They are designed to be used, played not museumized! No criticism of anyone afraid to use but don't be??? ;-)
  2. As you have someone interested in power amp and I may be interested in preamp could you provide separate prices maybe? Thank you
  3. What value for pre only? Thanks
  4. How does this sound? I know this is a basic question!! I tried a 400+ and was very disappointed even though it is immense!! In terms of grunt
  5. Xlt amazing! Live your rig. F1x looks so good. I have one too. Is Mesa strategy volume adjustable on rear? Is your Mesa cab (1516?) for sale? Is it a biampable cab using f1x crossover?
  6. He did post price at outset
  7. Still one of my all time favourite amps. Stunning dynamics.
  8. Mark bass ny604's are absolutely u believable too. I listened with my ears
  9. Great guys thanks. I already have a classic 15 road ready mesa. (Like macca's). Super light and stunning sound. I need a new speaker though 'cos my Alembic super filter killed it!! I tried a 210 and it sounded fab but xlr Eden very very similar quality. Current ideas: (all mesa): 15 & 210 212 610 (810 just too unrealistic to shidft. Conceptually perfect) The all n 1 15/410 is beefy and compact
  10. Still for sale (or trade??)
  11. Many thanks!
  12. Powersoft also
  13. How about the amplite? Crazy small 1/2 u width?
  14. Hello chums, Am pondering a dream mini rig. One obvious set-up is Mesa powerhouse 15 with matching 210 on top. However, one config I have never tried would be a 212 single cab. With beefiness of Mesa gear a single 410 could be considered, but a bit too bulky than the individual size of 15 & separate 210's. what thinks ye? Please reply f you actually tried most of these or any mesa's. I've been playing 30 years so am after specific Mesa experienced.
  15. Long shot. Would you trade for anything?
  16. Just saw this. I have a potentially spare Big Ben. Are you selling or trading? Are the tens 'tight' and right sounding?
  17. Price please. I have one too. I was told they were originally costed out at £2K each! May be far fetched. Mine was sold as ex Clayton rig. He must have had different rigs as mine is configured the same with each pair of ten's offset whereas your U2 link has them aligned uniformly, albeit in an 'ASS410' extra wide cab. Where is your cab located?
  18. Very pure bass. Zebra is a pleasing choice
  19. I'm a bit surprised by this thread. Give the guy a break. Anyone who knows about bass knows the superfly. The retro glide version is well known. If anyone is serious to buy then buy. The seller can provide provenance to serious buyers. The £6.7K king bass is an anomaly because it was a charity auction. I have one of the 42 jazz basses. While it is the poorest made of my basses the comparison is a bit unfair. It is still a great bass with an interesting provenance and cool SiMS! Go and make some music guys. Sorry to whinge! Big love to all

  21. I own one and just got it back this weekend after loaning to a friend. Dudes thus is a stunning head - articulate, punchy and as compact & light as you could want.
  22. Devon. I have the 15 already. Have you got covers? Can you send me better pics? Are they the smooth style boack covering on cabs? No farts from speakers? Great cabs
  23. Hi Where are you based? Thanks
