1. To be honest, an Ibanez will probably sell better 2nd hand than a Washburn and it's always a good idea to bear that in mind.
  2.
Hi Mark. I haven`t owned any of those 2 but have owned loads of Ibanez`s and they are quality basses that are excellent value for money. Nice slim neck and comftorable to play. Never owned a Washburn but I would imagine that it will be okay as there doesn`t seem to be any real dogs about nowerdays. Someone who knows what they are talking about will come along in a moment......... Jez
Hi there! I'm on the wrong thread it seems!
  3. Beautiful bass - I had a wee twang today and basically it's a typical Fender P-Bass. Solid, resonant and growly.
  4.
If this does get moved on, let me know where it goes so I can keep in touch with the new owner as I would like this someday.
Client confidentiality means I can't tell you but expect semi-clad women and great photos.....
  5. Cheers everyone - it's like a guilty secret!
  6.
Okay, it's hard to know what to offer as trade potential as there's no guide price though!
Seriously mate - I can't find a guide price online as they are rare. Talking to 2 basschatters online just now about it. Lysdexia is coming over tomorrow for a look at it and a wee shot, may have more info after that. Sorry.
  7.
Paul have you been hanging about with Munk or my good self? You`ve only just got it set up!! Really nice looking and tempting but I have nowt to trade with you, so have this bump. Jez
It's in the water I tell you!
  8.
I want this but have nothing to swap. I love it's candyappleredmatchingheadstockness.
Well buy a Geddy Lee or a Lakland and swap! (Kidding!)
  9.
Not sure if I have any suitable trade bait but do you have a price in mind for a straight sale?
Not at all - really have no idea what they are worth and I know the rules so I'm looking at swapsies!
That is very cool. In fact, put a mint scratchplate on it, swap the neck pickup for a P and that is pretty much my ideal bass. (At the moment.)
Mint the colour or brand new?
  16. Updated on the correct forum! ESP 400

Finished article Just got it back today! Cheers to 7 string once again! He has cleaned it, polished it, adjusted the neck and set up the action. Absolutely stunning take on a jazz and miles better than my old MIM Black Jazz bass!
  18. These are great live. Sold a purple one on here and it was OK in the house but growled live. Good buy!
  19. Interesting. I have sold and bought on here and some have went fast and others more slowly. The slow item was an item I traded for and eventually sold for about £100 less than the value of the trade. Then again, maybe we both overvalued the trade! The fast item I put on sale for £120 and eventually got about £160! Was I at it? No - it was my first item, I wanted it picked up, a buyer wanted it sent, I had to add a case and postage! Times are tough though! ps - anyone want to buy an ESP 400 at 3 times the price I paid for it!
  20. Does Jack S**t II interest you?
  21. I'd say! Looks like great and it's porntastic!

Basically 7String is stripping it down, cleaning it out and rebuilding it before setting it up properly. It had been under a bed in a case for about 12 years.
