Can't thank Dave enough ! Despite living at the other end of the universe (OK , UK, ) he happily agreed to to drive the odd 240 miles or so, and meet me at a Sheffield service Station to collect his Acoustic Control corp , and Ampeg cabinets. On the way down, He also collected a couple of 60's Vox AC30 stands for me , in Sunderland. Despite both our drives being in the 4 to 5 hour time scale, We arrived within 10 mins of one another. Then the fun started . First cab wouldn't go in the car. To my amazement, Dave started pulling bits off his car, and finally, with a big push , it popped in ! Gotta hand it to him, he's not easily deterred . Good thing, could have given us a big problem. Everything else went in, Just, then quick chat, and we were off. Shame we didn't have more time, but Dave had to be back, and I had to go to Birmingham on the way home , and escape before the rush hour . All in all, Dave's organisational skills made everything possible, and , just like the last time I met him , a pleasure, too. Thanks Dave !

We can all learn, and benefit, from his enthusiasm for the bass !

Would you have room for a KK Baby Bass, traditional model , I have a stand. plus bunch of 4 string and 5 string necks, Schaller bridges, coupla bodies, other odd bits, and my optimistically bought, but mainly unread, Tutorial books ! Most with their CD's intact. My Wife will be grateful !

Ha, Well spotted ! Proper Vox stand under my bass cab, couple of spacers, as the cab is a smidge wider. The stands under the ac30/15's are repurposed old school desks, tops removed, and turned around. Stack easy in the car, too !

Last Nights Rock 'n Roll gig setup. Only a 1 x 12 in that old Vox Cab ! Worked a treat, Great Fun.

Thought I'd bring out the "Bling " rig for an engagement party gig ! Sounded Great !

What can I say, that hasn't already been said. Top bloke is Roonjuice. Arranged to collect two very heavy amps at one if his gigs, despite travelling by train to meet up, 4 hours and no seats ! Met up in Winchester Holiday inn (this guy's got style ), and could have chatted for hours, but he was there to work. At all times he kept good communications, did all the heavy lifting, and was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Roon.

Just thought I ask out there if there's anybody in the Basschat fraternity who's still into Analogue recording using the mid 80's Tandberg recording gear. Never know, unless you ask !
