Has anyone in UK bought a bass from Fender 'Mod Shop'?
Eric_Wombat replied to Twigman's topic in Bass Guitars
I have no experience of ordering from either the CS or Mod shop, although tempted by both, but I'm pretty sure there are UK dealers you can order CS basses through, Andertons, Peach, Coda and A Strings are some I've seen listed. -

Ashdown Studio Mini Rig with Bass Amp
Eric_Wombat replied to Rollin Thunder's topic in Amps and Cabs
It works very well with my pedals, haven't encountered any issues so far. The gain is very similar to my TE GP12. I can highly recommend it, I bought a footswitch from Ashdown -

My first pedalboard is coming together, need to make up some cables of the correct lengths so I can tidy it up.

Really very good, so pleased with it.

Well I really didn't need another bass, I think having 7 after only playing for 12 months is probably a sign that I have fallen victim to GAS, but as a huge Guy Pratt fan I couldn't resist any longer and I have no regrets. There are lots of reviews saying how good, and what great value these basses are and I cant argue with any of them. Even with my limited experience, and even more limited ability I can say it is an absolute joy to play and the finish and the overall quality far exceed what I expected at this price.

I was lucky enough to get S23 #127, the black one on the website. Not sure where you are, but if it's anywhere near Cornwall or Bedfordshire you're welcome to try mine.

Well technically NBD was last Saturday when I collected it but here she is and I haven't stopped smiling since.
