  1. Fitted the amp feet at weekend and fired it up through my 4x10 with my flats loaded telebass - EPIC. Tempted to keep now but one final bump. Offers in excess of £300ish with delivery within 50 miles anyone?
  2. At the risk of the mrs' wrath ill consider trades for a semi hollow:- Rivoli Casady (black only) Tokai (that stunner that was on here recently that i missed) + Cash either way for the right deal
  3. If i wasnt so skint id consdier trades for an Ashdown Little Bastard or Jack Casady bass in Black (or other EB2 type hollow bodies)....alas current economical climate and all that

  5. Free delivery within say 50miles?
  6. Ive got the wax-dipped P bass pickup in my precision. Like it so much i got rid of the wizard thumper and wizard Trad i had lined up to go in my other P bass projects
  7. Had an offer on ebay of £150!?!?!
  8. Over 1300 views and no offers!
  9. Just ordered some rubber feet off maplin for a few quid for this. Sits flush on the cab at the mo so think this will help with rattles and unwanted vibration noises
  10. looks like im keepin it then
  11. Wow. Looks like ill be keeping hold of it then. Was that a fully serviced one as well?
  12. Didnt sell on the bay - £350?

  14. Also on Ebay and Gumtree but will pull for decent BCer offer
  15. Not to hijack a thread but pretty sure my Sound City head is a 70's amp. Certianly nails that sound thru some 15's with a flats loaded P bass
  16. Can deliver/half way meets within reason
  17. Heres pics finally. Just to reiterate - the tolex is tatty but amp is fully serviced and in working order. For the purists i did get a quote a while ago from Matamp to fully retolex the amp at £120. As before offers welcome but no trades at the mo im afraid. 18. Played this very bass at MBL. Very nice!
  19. How much do they go for skelf? Also are they smooth as described above or gapped like roto's?
  20. the price mainly and i felt that they felt a bit 'slack'
  21. ah cheers for that. Fairly new to flats having so far tried Roto's, TI's and picatto's. The main thing i didnt like about the picattos was their complete smoothness. Have considered the status halfwounds but think i do want that full on flats tone. Roto's it is then i think
  22. Very Quick question... Can anyone tell me if these are smooth flats as per Picattos or do they still have a reasonable 'gap' in the windings as per Roto flats?
  23. Sorry to bump an old thread for a second time....Recently fitted mytelebass with DR Fatbeams, likes i used to use back in the day - however, i still have flats on my p-bass and really wondered how the tele would sound with a set. I expect full on wollyness but surely with the tone control and a bit of EQing i could get away with a set? Anyone tried a set of roto flats on?
  24. Had a couple of Kiogons kits including a special 'mini pot' one he knocked up for a particularly small routed P. Great bits of kit and always happy with them in my project P's
