The Hartke LH500 is a fabulous head, dead simple to use and dead easy to get a great tone from. And it's perfectly powerful for almost anything you'll need :-)

I run an 18V active bass into the passive input, no problems at all. Just keep listening and any unwanted noises, turn down! As stingrayfan says, it'll just distort sooner

It's all about the Barefaced Vintage. Nothing comes close, IMHO

Cheers, Ben[/quote] If you put a 4 ohm driver in that combo you won't be able to drive a second cab as you'll push the amp lower than it's min impedance and that will make Bad Things happen. I wouldbn't bother replacing the driver at all, just get a 2x10 cab to go with it if that's what you want to do
