1. I have a 410 series 1 cab. I Highly recomend this cab to anyone. A Bump for a fantasticly clear , precise , punchy sounding , Easy to move speaker cabinet !
2. I have a Stingry 5 which i would recomend , great tone and easy to play. a friend of mine uses a yamaha trb 5 which has a very comfortable slim neck with a great low profile
3. Hi , The mark bass gear is great as it is very light but in my opion I find that the mark bass anps do "colour" the natural tone of any bass guitar. They don't seam to be very clear sounding or "tight" when it comes to reproducing each note you play. Very walm sounding like a big cuddley teddy bear a bit toooooo save sounding for me. Could be why there is alway's lots of mark bass gear up for sale on bass chat. Just my opion though
4. I have very recently done exactly the same thing. I have recently sold my Orange AD200b valve head with the OBC 410 & 115 speaker cabs. Great sound but became toooooooo heavy for me to move about , it was really a two man lift as I had flight cases etc. sad to see it gone but i have picked up an Epifani UL 502 amp and Epifanu UL 410 speaker cab. They are both really light , easy to move by myself and AWESOME sounding . I play a 1978 & 1979 precision and a 2002 5 string stingray with piezo pickup they all sound fantastic and I would recomend looking at the Epifani gear , it is very clear/punchy/natural sounding and can handle anything from the high c from a 6 string bass to the low B string on my stingray with ease. I am supper pleased with my rig , highly recomended
5. I have never played one but would love to try one out. I love the style / look and even the Kermitt green colour

13.
Hi Chris, When you say 1978 / 1980 does that mean it was made somewhere between these years or something like it's a '78 body with an '80 neck? Also - do you know roughly how much it weighs and which of the various P bass neck profiles and nut widths it has? My old '76 had a really chunky neck and weighed a ton but I think Fenders from around this era varied quite a lot
Hi Molan, The Body and neck are stamped 1978 and the pots and pick ups are stammped 1980. I believe them to be original to the bass. From what I have read this is fairly comman with instruments made in this era as Fender were using up parts that had been in stock for a while. On a Calibrated set of scales the Bass weighs 4.476 Kg which is 9.867 Lbs. I will get back to you with nut width etc as i will have to take some measurements. Kind regards Chris
