1. As title says, does any one know a decent fretless player around these 'ear' parts? Able to give a few lessons.
2. + 1 Hey you , great bass line.
3. Mark bass F1 I also have a Rh450 so don't need both, I do prefer the simplicity of the F1. But the features of the rh450 are just so handy not to mention the awesome sounds that it produces.
4. Bump for a great amp at a great price!

Tim is great guy to deal with, guitar packed really well and he got it to me earlier than he first said he could. Thanks Tim
8.
The seller made a stupid and damn lazy decision to ship the bass like that.
Strong words, don't they have moderators on here!!!!
9. I went through all this when trying to get some speakers for the delta cab . The deals on second hand gear these days you might be better off removing the head from the combo ( which is a 2 minute job) and get a nice cab second hand to go with it. Thats a much cheaper prob better option. Give me a shout if you want the cab. Patch
10. Ideally no trades thanks. Biggsy pm'ed bass still avilable

12. Extremely rude, comments like this make my blood boil ! Cracking bass, good luck with the sale Paul.
13. So Luke you got your Tecamp in the end! Woohooo! Didn't go for half measures either, that head must be awesome. With regards to the taste dial, to my ears I set it around 12 to 2 o'clock to get the sounds I wanted from the 212 combo. Obviously what ever your cabs are will make a massive difference.
14. Any amp with half decent power rating would have this cab singing. Doubt if i would use anyhting less than a amp that runs at 500@4ohms
15. Can I be put on the list pretty please, Im in Exeter Devon. Already have one of your compacts which is pretty awesome. Serioulsy looking to get the midget in the next few months to put on top!!! I often drive past Weymuf Gerry so could pick up from yee!
16. Hi all, Mark bass sa450 check out the link for info http://www.basscentre.com/bass-amps/markbass-sa450.html Great amp, more versitile in sound than the LM11 and 111 imho. £370 delivered!
17. These came in a custom bass of mine, they are about £150 new. SOLD
18. Hi all! I recently did a weekend in the studio with a bass that I had recently aquired. During the recordings it was obvious that the pick ups had very little output. There is a Glockenkang pre amp fitted with two jazz barts in, I took it in to get it checked out and it seems that the barts that have been put in are the lower output ones better suited for passive basses............ So I need to get hold of a set of 5 String j pickups that will go nicely with the Glockenklang 3 band pre.., any recomendations? I like warm powerful lows with decent highs and tone to get a nice slap tone with out being too over the top with the highs. Any thoughts advice apreciated.
19. Hi LC I have taken a deposit from some one for this I'm afriad.... ( will update post) Some one else has second dibs.......... so if all falls through i will give you a shout so you can bring some daffs down and i'll put the kettle on for the cream tea!!
20. I find these negative posts a bit much some times, if they are rubbish then they will ulitmately pay for that. The coment the other day about the bass direct guy should ever have been posted. Come on guys we all have good and bad experiences but it might be an idea in dealing with them directly instead of possibly badly affecting someones lively hood. And no I don't work at the bass cellar! On the other hand, cheers guys I don't think I will bother popping into the bass cellar when next in the big smoke!
21. My rig consist of - Mark bass F1 3kg Barefaced compact 13 or 14kg? Schoelder mini 12 l under 9kg SA450 back up amp!! Can recomend all of the above, for a versitile powerful very useable modular rig that is silly light!! I take the f1 and 1x12 out under 12kg total weight and produces a great sound with bags of volume.
22. I have a spare from a newish deluxe jazz, post a pic of the one you need it may well be the same. I know it is a shaller bml. Or contact Lars Bunning who is the owner of schaller him self, he's great! I couldn't get hold of one of the other bml's different shape you need so he sent me through just a single one for a tenner!!!!! they are 30 to 40 squids from a shop! Post a Pic first I will dig the one I have out tonight/ in fact I think I have two of them.
23. Bumping just gets your add to the top of the first page as in theory most people just glance at the latest couple of pages when looking for something hence bump to the top! Ref prices, I say set your prices as you see fit. Its very difficult as no one seems to have money ( that is until they see a bargain that they can't resist!!) These are quality instruments, I love warwicks but they don't seem to be as popular at the mo hence very very stupid low prices!
