@Reggaebass are you sarf east London? I recall Walworth Road and you for some reason. I'll book a minibus...

I look forward to my invitation to your man-shed. I'll bring tea and biscuits

My suggestion would be "we were crap, the set list is pants". If you have two gigs and one rehearsal left, what do you have to lose. Of course the way you say it is important, but it needs to be said.

Still better then me 😩

Everyone is welcome, though Dorset is a fair trek. Rob

Ink tanks convert printers from highly expensive cartridges into a refillable tank of ink that you can fill as needed. It means you don't need to buy dedicated cartridges but can use cheaper inks. Some printers are easy to convert, some less so. Google for ink tank conversion kit and your model of printer. Rob

I wouldn't say you have OCD, more like organised and sensible. Why wouldn't you want to have the set list agreed before you go on? You may have options to play if needed but you all know which way you're going.

It's that time of the year when a gentleman's fancy turns to what to do next year OR the village hall committee asks you if you want to hire the hall again for "those odd people who made an awful lot of noise and possibly sent the sheep into early labour". I've now booked Clapham Village Hall for Sat 10/5/25. It's for the whole day. Lunch will probably be included again, We had about 10 people last year and it was a good number. We all had plenty of space and got around easily. However we could accommodate more people. If there is a sudden flood of people, we may have the option of a larger venue, but that could bang the costs up, e.g. Kendal Rugby Club, Settle Rugby Clubs (go North Ribbs!) or Ingleton Community Centre. At the moment the event is being sponsored by my company so it's free! I'm aware that some people were quite nervous about being there and if so, they are more than welcome to contact me about this to see how we can help. Just to be very clear, this event is inclusive, so everyone, regardless of religion, gender, declared gender, sexuality or anything at all is very welcome. Even people who swing both ways and play both bass and electric, I have to confess to that myself, so there you are We have quite a lot of space in our house so if people want to cut hotel costs and stay, you are welcome. We do have a limit on numbers but if people are prepared to be flexible, it's quite a lot. Thanks Rob

For some reason I had thought they had passed this mortal coil, I saw them in the 80's (I think) at Leicester Poly (I think) and had a great time (I think), I may have had a lot of something that night (I think), so it's a little hazy.

Wow, I had assumed with that fantastic finish it was a high end acrylic finish. Thanks

Thanks. Any particular acrylic brand? I've tried a few and not had fantastic results in the past. Building or rather 3d printing another one and would like to do a better job this time.

Dear god, I look at my feeble efforts and realise I'm not worthy. For some reason I imagined this guitar being used by Thor or some sort of Norse god. That nut is amazing. I take my hat off to you, Sir. What clear coat did you use please? Thanks Rob

Looks a great desk for anything with (typing) keyboard and monitors. I've built one very similar to this for home (not music at all) office.

I'll take the 75 and you can have my 97 Jazz. It's a really nice bass in blue with matching headstock. Seems fair to me.
