1. Bump, open to offers, I'd prefer it to get used rather than sit in a drawer.
2. Hi there, I've got 2 sets of Helicore Hybrids, light tension. Both sets have been on for about a year, so have seen quite a bit of use, therefore most useful for somebody looking to try them before splashing out on a new set, or for spares if you already use them. This I hope is reflected in the price, make me an offer if you think its too steep! Set 1 - Complete set, £30 SOLD Set 2 - £[s]25[/s] 15?. These were on a bass when I bought it, apparently been on for around a year. The A, D, G are light hybrids, the E is a Spirocore medium (visible in the second image, red silk). Any questions or offers please get in touch, Cheers, Cameron
3. £65 now. Hi there, Selling my Shadow pickup as I'm not using it. In used condition, but fully functioning. This is similar to the realist, with two pickup elements to be placed in between bridge foot and body. Has an attached preamp powered by a 9v watch battery (CR2032 - I'll include 2 spares), with volume and tone controls. Very flexible and reliable. I can't find the original box, I may have chucked it in an over enthusiastic clear out. It will come mummified in bubble wrap, price includes normal postage to UK. 4. Been quiet for a while so quick update: contacted Xotic about the body wood but no reply yet. I'm also tempted to withdraw this as I've had some shoulder issues because of the weight of this bass, but I bought a duo strap and since then it's been absolutely fine.
5. Hi, if I've understood the website properly then it's ash. Anyone know how I'd make sure? C
6. Up to the top for offers and trade options added.
7. Thanks for asking but it does say no trades. Cheers.
8. Bump for a whole lotta bass
9. Cool thanks for getting back to me, I'll have a think and get back to you, I may have found another way...
10. 2 quick questions about the a/b box: is it true bypass, and could it theoretically be used as a mute pedal? Cheers, C
11. Cheers man, it's a beast!
12. No problems at all very well packed and communication was great, cheers man!
13. Back in the country bump.
14. Hi there, Selling my Xotic 5 string jazz, in a lovely creamy white with tortoiseshell pick guard. It's all as per the official spec (http://xotic.us/inst...xj-series#specs) but it has the upgraded Fralin pickups and the upgrade to HRI (hum reducing coil). Scale is 34" and spacing is 19mm. Weight is 10lbs 3oz. Controls are vol/pan/tone in passive mode, active bass/mid/treble and the two switches are for choosing the frequencies for the mid and treble pots. It's in very good condition overall, with 3 small marks (headstock, body, neck socket) that I've done my best to photo - they're so small that my camera had trouble focussing properly on them. The hairline crack by the neck socket was there when I got it and it's only in the lacquer. I've had it a few months and it's a wonderful thing, but using my 4 string or upright on all my work at the moment and I have Uni fees to pay. Any questions fire 'em at me, I'll do what I can to help. It'll come in a Dingwall branded Levi's gig bag in excellent condition. I'm happy to courier it but I don't have much in the way of packing materials, so the buyer will need to cover those costs. All the best, Cameron EDIT: This has been pretty quiet recently so I'm now open to offers and trades (preferably light 4 string things that go thump, with cash my way). Cheers.
15. Hi there, hope this is the right section for this. I've been a 1 bass + flatwound only guy for years, but with some recent reliability issues have felt the need for a backup and therefore an opportunity for roundwounds. As you can probably tell, I love the old school tone of flats (even for slap), so have been looking at the warmest sounding rounds out there and the answer seems to be nickel; and DR sunbeams and TI jazz rounds come up an awful lot. I really like the sound of the jazz rounds on the samples I've tracked down, but can't find anyone slapping them - does anyone out there have access to that? Or experience of it? £45 is a lot to spend on strings that might sound like ass when slapped. Thanks so much in advance! C
16. remember this from the last time it was up for sale. if my dingwall sells then I'd be very tempted (unless you fancy negotiating a swap of some kind )
17. Bump, open to offers + trades
