1. bump, open to offers if anyone thinks I have overpriced this?
2. hi there, is this still available? and are you looking at trades/part ex at all? I have 2 basses, a head and a cab i'm looking to move in if you're interested? Cheers
3. Hi all, NOW £200! These are fantastic instruments for the money, and I'm quite reluctant to sell it (as it leaves me without a backup, eek), but I'm trying to scrape together money for a new double bass bow. The spec is standard; rosewood fingerboard, 34" scale, CAR finish + matching headstock (a bit of a ding out of the top - visible in the photos), controls are vol/bal/tone, weight is 4.2kg, and it even has the plastic covering still on the pick guard! The bass has been professionally set up, with a new nut too, and has a really low action. As you can see (I hope) from the pictures the higher up the neck the defret work is a bit messy, but it gets much neater the nearer the 'money' end This doesn't affect the sound as the fingerboard has been sanded down well, and could be coated with epoxy to get even more 'mwah'. I hope this seems like a reasonable price, but I'm open to opinions from everybody here. If you'd like any more details please get in touch, Cameron
4. I haven't bought or sold much on here so if there's anything else you'd like to know feel free to get in touch. NOW £375 For sale is my Hofner 185 'Artist' bass in sunburst finish. An old classic looking bass with a fair bit of history and a surprisingly versatile tone due to the 2 pickup config (controls re vol/vol/tone/tone + 2x on/off switches for each pickup).. Everything visible is original, however when I bought it it played like ass and there were some electrical issues. I've had the pots changed - now everything works with no problems (although I feel obliged to mention the tone controls don't do a whole lot) and I will include the originals with the sale. Also a shim has been fitted under the foot of the neck to make it playable - it now has a much straighter neck and nice low action. Fingerboard is short scale (30"), the finish is quite crazed as you'd expect for a 50 year old bass (likewise a few marks here and there) and you can see a nice bit of wood grain through sunburst now, it's currently strung with brand new Rotosound flats. I'll include with the sale; - an almost new set of D'Addario half rounds - the knackered flats that it came with, they're the wrong scale and I'm not sure what brand (green wrapping) but might come in useful one day(?) - the original pots - certificate of origin from a previous German seller who it looks like was a specialist - a short scale gig bag I believe this price is reasonable bearing in mind the amount of work I've had done on it, and I can't find much around to gauge value from - if there's anyone on here that has more of an idea then I'll be happy to hear from them. The bass will be shipped in a big box full of padding. I'm not looking for any trades at the moment thanks, I'm selling in order to fund a new double bass bow Any questions please get in contact, Cheers Cameron
5. still available, anyone want to make an offer?
6. This isn't getting used any more so it's up for sale. Basically its a dead simple active DI box, ideal for boosting jack or XLR signals significantly. Outputs are jacks. Most info is clear from the pics, each channel has clip + signal LEDs, and phantom power is switchable too. Naturally sounds nice and warm, and a very good cost effective option if you're going straight into the desk at any point. Comes with power supply. Offers or questions get in touch, thanks!
7. This is basically gathering dust at the moment so thought I'd move it on. It's a few years old but in exceptional condition - it has been stored in its box since I bought it, so as you can see the box has some wear and tear but the pedal itself is immaculate. It has 2 small strips of velcro on the bottom for attaching to a pedal board, not a big deal though and I can (carefully) remove if that's preferable. Cheers!

12. If anyone has a fretless perception 4 string they'd like to do a straight swap with get in touch!
13. edit: now included trades due to lack of interest, not too fussy as I'll most likely sell it on as I need the cash more than a new instrument. So preferably 4 string and not too weird and wonderful!
14. still available - currently on show in a guitar shop in Glasgow as well.
