  1. In all seriousness, i am a big fan of the stomp. I think it's a great device. I'm not the type to dig deep into multi effects, but at a surface level I'm very impressed with it. The stomp would replace a lot of what you have or at least make it redundant. If you want to augment what yoi currently have, what about a plethora X3? It will give you all the delays and modulation you're missing in a tidy package for a good value. Get an HPF/LPF combo pedal, stick it under the board and boom. You wouldn't be able to insert it wherever you wanted though Too much?
  2. Well, it seems we're at an impasse...
  3. What do you do with the marijuana in the tins? 🥦
  4. your man also sells those harness straps. They look ridiculous, but i bet they feel pretty good https://slingerstraps.com/collections/ergonomic-guitar-straps throw on a black shirt and you're sorted.
  5. I've got a flat arse. That thing would be on the floor before the first note.
  6. Does a kit count as doing it by yourself? If so, im about to try my first one.
  7. i have never found a gigbag that i can wear on my back and not have to duck. It's absolutely a pain. I suppose the BC Rich gigbag i have hangs very low but it is massive. I have a steinberger in a gigbag, but that slings over your shoulder.
  8. I'm strictly a 4 string player. I've owned quite a few but neber really got in with a 5. I'd say 5ers started getting big in mid 80s. In the 90s everyone was using them. Nowadays I'm seeing mostly 4s. Heres me in early 90s playing my MM 5er. This would have been like 92-93. Dont have the hair nor the bass anymore.
  9. @ordep recently posted his board with a becos mini
  10. I've posted it before. Korg tuner should be here on Monday. You can see exactly where it will go, although i might swap the placement of the dmc and the freeze. Never had sideways pedals before, i dont love them but it really works in this config
  11. Ya, it is a glaring con, but the only one.i really love it and think TC hit a home run. And the tuner!
  12. I just ordered a korg pitchblack x mini tuner as well because the plethora tuner isnt great. And it will also be going on my board sideways! I do have a perfect slot for it, but yeah, sideways.... To me, the plethora big selling point is no OD. I like my own analog drives in front of it. This board is close to my compact but i have the x3 instead of x5 and outboard compressor and C4
  13. Love the plethora. I don't think it's a big hit with the buying public. I have the X3. I've a power supply that will run the plethora as well as a bunch of pedals. It's great not having to bring around extra power supply.
  14. I am so so sorry to read this. I'm sure we're all at an age where we consider this often but to come face to face with it is so unfair and an awful consequence of the privilege of being. I hope you find peace. I'd say you dont need to be dealing with questions and packing and shipping. Might you have a local shop that will take your gear on consignment? If you have a nice collection I'm sure you could get fair terms amd then you wouldnt have to deal with the hassle of selling.
  15. I bet it's fun! Three open string octave sounds cool.
  16. I recently switched to flats only and it took a few weeks to get rid of the soreness. They are 49-109 so like cables. I think i made a thread about it here. Im fully used to them now and 105 rounds feel very thin to me. I actually just ordered a set of double balled 49-109 flats for my old steinberger XP
  17. That is too cool! Just read it while walking the pup. So drop c with the high string tuned to c? Whats that look like? CGCFC?
  18. Like my warmoth but with a different pickup
  19. Aye, some of the patches are crazy loud.
  20. What about zipties but put bits of foam under the part where it goes around the edge. Or only use it in studio and get a big muff clone for the board.
