Almost all of my basses ive either built, out together from parts or heavily modified so i can't really sell any of them. Except for my steinie XP, but im keeping that for when i can't play a full size anymore.
I dochave 2 vintage ibanez i keep meaning to put up for sale. They are in a local shop for consignment, but they havent put them up yet.
Where'd you order from? Amazon saying in stock mid April.
Andertons seems to have in stock.
Gear4music had them up until yesterday, nnow aying early May. Not sure G4M is in UK?
Thomann 5-7 weeks.
I'll be in London next week and i was hoping i could walk into a shop and grab one
I was listening to the remixes on spotify the other day. The 2009 remixes really brjng out the bass. The 2021 are good also but i prefer the 2019 early album remixes through headphones
Song #2 by Blur. How such a basic song with such a basic riff and terrible vocal is so popular I'll never understand.
Hey Man, Nice Shot by Filter. Such in obvious riff and stupid obvious lyrics trying to be deep. Hate it.
So messing around a bit, i am going to confidently say one of the three options, to me, sounds better. The options being pre-comp, post-comp and no comp.
My playing is too sloppy to post, but let me try again.
After trimming some of the rubber, i was able to use it. Not ideal, but it doesnt seem to be putting pressure on the power cable and it sits flush with that corner removed.
That is interesting!
I was thinking more of my C4 which i suppose is a synth pedal, but i use it for envelope as well. I do get great response, but i suppose the fact that it is digital would make a difference?
My old DOD FX25 absolutely responds to playing dynamics... I'll have to pull it off the board and do some testing before and after comp.
I would never think to put compressor after envelope.
Why would you want to tame those peaks and valleys?
Give the envelope a nice even tone from the comp, no?
So i finally took a deep dive and decided to sort out all my issues.
I emailed disaster area and he explained to me what i was doing wrong. I figured out different device modes and how the preset mode can be set to change patches without turning on the C4.
I also finally figured iut how to control both the C4 and the plethora using the dmc micro. I can now set scenes and isntantly call up boards on the plethora and patches on the C4 simultaneously and have them engaged or disengaged. Very pleased with that. I knew it could be done, just a matter of finding out how.
This is my first step into using midi to control my boards. It was much easier to setup than i imagined.
Next up is deep dive into C4 patch editor. I finally soent some time going through it and it seems to make sense.
At least the top half of the screen. The bottom half controls are a bit mysterious still!
