Just got back from a gig at Trillians Rock bar in Newcastle. Went well. Good sound and great turnout. Long journey though 2.5 hours there and 2.5 back. Certainly wouldn't want to do that regularly.

Always a shame when that sort of thing happens. At least they let you know. We've replied to a couple of ads this year saying band needed for x date as Y band has dropped out. Send a message saying yes we're available and get no response whatsoever. Chase them up still no response. Its just pure pig ignorance imho.

I'm really glad to hear that. I've seen a lot of shows cancelled this year due to low ticket sales. Even tribute bands have been struggling. Personally got a couple of tours and a fairly big festival booked for next year already. So I'm grateful for that.

Yea it's definitely been tough this year. The other thing is with gigs being post poned for the last couple of years there's a lot of gigs every weekend so everyone is fighting for the same audience. Petrol and even worse diesel prices have rocketed. We increased the price of our merch to try and keep up.
