  1. Simple fix
  2. Like this
  3. My Orange Little Bass Thing being a metal cased head sits on a bar beer draining mat ( off eBay ) and it stops any vibration going through the head Nice rig 👍
  4. Ashdown abm600 is the answer
  5. The Pro Neo cabs are narrower in width and sound good, not as full and punchy as the non Neo larger cabs
  6. No I like both as they work really well with my ABM600 Tough choice but after obtaining locally a secondhand 210H it was a plan to add a second cab matching cab as an all Ashdown rig As I can’t mix the Ashdown cabs with the Ampeg ( it’s 4ohms ) I’ve decided to let it go and sell it as it would take up space Shame I never got these two cabs last year when I started off looking at Ashdown and originally had the smaller Pro Neo cabs
  7. They make a really nice rig, due to space I’ve decided to sell my lovely Ampeg Cab
  8. Decided to sell the SVT212AV cab as I haven’t got room for three bass cabs !
  9. Mines up for sale on here as I can’t keep both my Ashdown cabs and this as I haven’t got room
  10. Decided to sell this superb Ampeg Svt212av cab as I’m now using all Ashdown cabs and haven’t room to keep all of them. Purchased new in Dec 2021 so still like new condition and comes with a Roqsolid cover worth £60 The cab is a loud 212 plus tweeter 4ohm cab rated to 600w and is a great single cab solution. This is one of the best sounding Ampeg cabs and although not super light ( approx 28kg ) it’s not too bad lifting and moving around. I have original Ampeg box so can pack and allow you to arrange a suitable courier to collect from my home address or you can collect in person from Suffolk. Be sad to see it go but haven’t got room for this and my other bass gear Withdrawn from sale .. decided to keep
  11. The SVT212AV is a better cab and easier to lift !
  12. Yep mine is around 11 to 12 o clock max
  13. Just out of interest where do you set your valve drive level ?
  14. Will use the Ampeg 212 on certain gigs and rehearsals and the two Ashdown cabs on gigs and larger venues … what a dilemma choosing this or a 115H cab I like the 115H cab but I’m working on the 210 sounds nice, two of them will sound nicer !!
  15. Having recently obtained a nice second hand ABM210H cab I’ve just ordered a second ABM210H cab to stack on top to make a two cab rig PMT were very helpful and did a good deal .. will also give me more cab height too !
  16. I’ve had the PF500 and 800 heads and they are a lovely sounding bass amp
  17. A separate compressor would be better than the typical amp based ones
  18. My experience with compressors on amps is they are very average But saying that I don’t play slap etc which I think is the main style that compression really helps Ive toyed with the idea of a new compressor pedal but always find a reason not to buy one as I avoid pedals mostly !
  19. Thank you 👍
  20. My Ampeg SVT CL 300w head was perceivably louder than my ABM600 head. Ive always thought the V4B 100w head would be nice but I fear it hasn’t got the volume for a very loud rock band ( not using PA )
  21. Anyone got a RM414 they don’t want ?
  22. I’m interested in this Would a 100w tube amp be as loud as my ABM600 using the same cab ?
  23. There’s a bargain ABM1200 for sale at PMT at the moment

    Cab moving

Just had the hand trolley arrive and I’m impressed to how it is. Very strong but light and folds down really small Good sized wheels for gravel drives etc and makes moving heavy cabs a breeze. Ideally you need to use a strap to keep the load from moving but I think this is worth the investment
  25. I keep looking out for the ABM410H cab to come up locally for a good price !
