  1. Thanks Dave Ive reported it to Keeley and my local store so I think a replacement will be called for
  2. I’ve messaged Keeley in the USA and they are checking see video of issue ?? I’ve alerted the store too Have a listen, do you guys hear it ? Listen when it goes Red to Green IMG_3927.MOV
  3. Going to try it at rehearsal this week as it’s so minor if only just detectable it may be something else ? At volume with the band will be the full test .. I do like it a lot as it’s neutral sounding and the threshold Red led is a great feature to enable setting
  4. I doubt a phone would pick it up as it’s low in sound and approx 1 sec of noise
  5. Just tried it bass, cable into Pedal then headphones so I could tell it wasn’t amp related Same noise present so yep either mine is a noisy model or it’s faulty Back it goes
  6. Yes only the Keeley in use I think it’s faulty perhaps
  7. I found the Ampeg Opto Comp was better but it sucked treble out slightly which wasn’t a bad thing swopping from fingers to pick ( it’s cheap as well )
  8. Same question as Led goes from Red to Green it’s totally silent as the note dwells away ?
  9. So if you see the Led go from Red to green you hear no “ noise” ?? Its very subtle but on mine it’s there for sure and I’m guessing it’s faulty
  10. It’s silent in operation as long as Red led is lit ( threshold met ) it’s when it flips from Red to Green there is a tiny bit of static noise present. I think at loud volumes it would be noticeable ie sustaining a long note as it dwells etc Can someone try theirs to see if they hear the same ?
  11. Ok further update mines going back Ive noticed a faint noise when the compressor @ releases the signal IE Led goes red to green Very minor but it’s present and I’ve eliminated the power supply and tried batteries Such a shame as I liked it fine up to then !! For a £200 compressor I expected better
  12. I’ve now completely returned to fingers I find a far fuller deeper sound is achieved which I just can’t improve on Its noticeable how better it sits in the band
  13. I love my CTM100 and since reverting to finger style I find the EQ works as ( all buttons out except bright ) bass around 9 o’clock , mids 12 o’clock and treble 9 o’clock I also dime the master and use the gain for level
  14. Update .. I’ve taken the Spark Booster off and will just use the Keeley Sounds more natural and the tone of the CTM100 sounds better
  15. It arrived today and it’s a very nice sounding compressor No colouration or loss of tone Compressor works very well as does Limiter Takes seconds to set up and the Green / Red led makes it simple to see what’s happening. I like it a lot and feel it will do just as required in front of my valve amp I m running a TC Spark Booster after it as a gentle clean boost and that seems to pair nicely especially with the CTM100 head
  16. Thanks , the last picture was before the Dimarzio upgrade This is my other Player Series with black pickguard except it also has HiMass Bridge fitted
  17. Without a doubt the RM500 Forget the PF series nothing but trouble in the main. Or TE Elf fantastic little and loud amp
  18. If the same cab stacked then generally more volume and the added height means you hear more too
  19. Hire a car as might not cost as much as an expensive Spock Coffin !
  20. Just swopped the stock Pups from the Player Series and added the Dimarzio PBass pickup These are a bargain at present and for anyone liking rock these Pups work well More mids and growl ( fairly hot pups ) and for finger playing they are an improvement I feel
  21. Just dropped these into my Player Series £66.00 from PMT !! For rock they sound great fingerstyle as a little more mids and growl tone
