    Hello all, Need a little advice, I have just bought a lovely TE V6, that runs at 4 or 2 OHM. Is it essential for reliability that I match the cab Ohmage too? I can make 4ohm from my two SWR cabs, but occasionally I like to use one at 8 ohms. Does this mean I will end up with more that valves glowing if a use an 8 ohm speaker when the amp is running at 4 or 2 ohms? thanks in advance for you knowlegable advice! Andrew

    yes you could, i have been using it as a monitor for my bass - I dont need a huge rig as the PA does the work. It would be great for your guitarist - happy to take an offer. Andrew
