1. Ahhh! If I flog any of my stuff soon, I'll be taking this straight off your hands!
2. This bass is back up for sale. The description has been updated.
3. I've now updated the description of this bass, also added a couple of pics.
4. Bump for this beauty... still up for grabs.
5. Whamola! Argghh, I missed this and I'm gutted!
6. Wow, this is fantastic! Thank you Major-Minor, this great stuff!
7. Cheers Fin!
How does this 4 Ohm or 8 Ohm thing work? I'm confused (as usual), I thought a cab / speaker had a fixed input impedance; I don't see a 4 / 8 Ohm selection switch on the back panel, just 8 Ohm i/p. I know it's something to do with wiring the speakers in series or parallel, I just can't see how this works...... . I'm tempted, this could replace the 2 Ashdown Mini 15" I have up for Swap / Trade. But the weight.....Ohhhh, although - I suppose that's what lead guitarists are for . Is it on casters? Oggy I really would like to know about the 4 / 8 Ohm thing.
Oops, sorry, I'll amend my original post - it's what Platypus and Beedster said, it's an 8ohm cab. Get that lead guitarist using those muscles, there are no casters on this beastie. Psychoandy, it weighs 31.3kg according to the mesa site... It's pretty heavy but it's quite easy to carry about. I can get it in the back of my crappy little coupe quite easily. Bassvid75, sorry, no trades... one of the suspension coils on my car's just snapped and another needs replacing £90 a piece, thanks BMW.
8.
This looks like my least favourite musicman colour - teal green. For some reason the combination of the 2 pickups, black scratchplate and fretless neck make the colour look really nice on this particular bass - so much so that if i was looking for another fretless I'd be all over this one
Know what you mean there too, it's also not my fave colour, but I really like it on this bass. I've never been wild about the looks of Musicman basses, but I love the twin pickup ones!
9. I know what you mean about the bridge, I always meant to get a proper Musicman replacement one but haven't got around to it! It depends on what you've got for trade, but I'd prefer hard moneys for it as I need to fix my car (again) and clear some of the evil credit card.
10. This puppy is still up for sale.
11. Hi, sorry I didn't reply sooner. I'm afraid this bad boy is now sold.
12. The basses the nicest colours ever, but when I was 14 I would have loved one to go with my highly attractive multi-coloured ski jacket and classy trainers. The prices aren't too bad either. I reckon they'll be a good starter bass, certainly far better than the piece o' crap that I started on for not much cheaper.
13. Phew, gone to one lucky fellow. Not jealous, honest!
