Must be the lighting... It's a great bass, very versatile. Extremely well built... The one thing that irks me a little is I wish they'd come with the reverse pick ups like the 1200s....

I used to have the red burst 92 version made on Taiwan... hated it!! But I was using my modded 300 with 1200s pups and circuitry...

No idea when it's going to be realeased... I thought when they realeased the Artist videos on Hooky that they were gearing up for a release date on his bass... Apparently the red bass the custom shop made him is a BBp34 with active circuitry...

I was going to redesign my 734a pick guard as I wanted to reverse the p pups... that's on hold until I find out if we're going to get a Hooky signature bass as I may have to sell the 734a to help fund it...

Judging by the horns I'd say it was Taiwanese... the Japanese had shorter horns a bit like the 1200S

I had a BB300 which was my first "proper" bass... twas a great bass in standard form and even better when I got it modded with the BB1200S active circuitry....

I love the look of the LT...but... the compact nature of this set up is to good to pass on... I'm thinking the stomp ... mooer di pedal (I can't get my head around not having an xlr out) and/or trs lead is what I'm going to go with...

+1 re the BB300... fantastic bass... I wish Yamaha had corrected Hooky on the dates though... he was off his tits most of the 80s so it's not surprising he got the dates wrong...
