  1. The 1528 is a 2 x 15 cab which is surprisingly easy to move as it has wheels on the base and recessed handles on the top... Please contact me for anymore pix/info Pick up only... 20221030_133720.heic 20221030_133656.heic 20221030_133842.heic 20221030_133802.heic 20221030_133756.heic
  2. I never had a problem with my 734a as I went thru bridge.... I've never had a problem with the 1200s ever... hmmm maybe the tuning peg is not as wide as the 1200s'.... Mind you Hooky has a 45 on his high E on his six... I got it to tune to E after 4 days of stretching ... sat down to play it and it snapped, nearly chopping my fingers off. I went with 40 after that.... Yeah I noticed that string on his PMT interview... maybe he snapped it before filming???
  3. I had to change mine through the bridge normally instead of through body... I had got it to tune through body but I gave it 3 days for the string to stretch. I heard people were having problems and I thought it would be a matter of time until mine snapped if I was playing at gig levels of gusto....
  4. I know... but I want one .... 😉 I'm so used to having xlr It irritates me when there isn't one...I know I'm being picky. I like the look of the XL ... It looks like a Stomp got it on with a Boss MS 3...
  5. Still no xlr on XL grrr... not the end of the world I suppose.. hmmm I'm interested!
  6. I wish we could influence them... I'd love a BBPH in sunburst to match my BB1200...
  7. My first proper Yamaha was a BB300 what a bass ... I had two... one like yours and one with the shorter horns...they're worth every penny!!!
  8. Yes.... I've been using this gauge for 20 plus years... Brian from Revenge told me what gauges Hooky used.... In those days I was in a three piece and using heavy strings on the top end ... I was so close ... except that I used 70 on the D string.... I had a BB300 modified with BB 1200s circuitry...
  9. The neck is thinner front to back... and the nut is 40mm instead of 43mm on 1200s...I have to say the neck on the BBPH does feel quite nice...
  10. I think they are D'Addarios....unfortunately not in the Hooky gauge...
  11. I prefer my fingers not being covered in dirt after I've played it... no I prefer steels..got a set of elites going on ASAP...
  12. Have you had a chance to change the strings... its the only thing that bugs me about my BBPH...
  13. I haven't had a chance to plug it in yet... but acoustically it sounds amazing.. I had a quick strum of Joy divisions 24 hours...this thing sings!!!
  14. I'm glad you said person... some of my mates have been a little less wholesome 😉
  15. My Hooky Yamaha has turned up... it is a thing of beauty 😍
  16. Same as the one that came with the 734a
  17. I ordered from PMT...said it was out of stock...expected to be waiting weeks... coming on Monday....
  18. Beautiful 😍 What make and gauge strings does it come with
  19. Yes ....a more balanced sound across the strings....
  20. I did have the 734a... but sold it to fund the Hooky pro 6 ... I could hear the difference between the 734a in the split position and the 1200s...
