4. These are terrific, and if I hadn't just splashed out on my Demeter/Crown pre/power amp setup I'd be snapping this up. Good price too!

 7. The OP hasn't been on BC in 10 days. I'm assuming he also had these items on eBay, as an Aggie 212 based in Falkirk sold on eBay for £360. The seller was also selling an iAmp that went unsold at £300. Cheers Gareth
 8.
If I can fast track my dbx 163x rackmount compressor on eBay, it would be FAIRLY likely that I can pick this up from you I'll see how it goes, and get back to you if it's up for sale still and I sell mine!
That's cool, thanks. A few expressions of interest via PM, but nothing concrete so far.
 9. I seem to be doing this a lot at the moment, buying gear and then finding something else almost immediately that is a better option for me, and this is a case in point. I ordered this from Max at the beginning of March and it should be with me tomorrow or Monday. It's the newly redesigned H1 headphone amplifier. The only reason I'm selling it is I've decided to get a PJB Cub, and as this can do the same function I don't need both units. I'm selling it for £99 (posted 1st class) which is what it cost me, but I'll throw in a brand new and unused Roland PSU as well, saving you £20. Paypal as a "gift" is fine. Cheers Gareth

 11. My Brook is in a Kinsman KGC8660 ABS case, which does a perfectly good job and weighs next to nothing.
 12. This is a minty fresh dual channel compressor. Really nice unit, as subtle or as in yer face as you like; very versatile. It's unmarked, ungigged (I used it once at home to check it out, that's it), and comes in the original box with PSU. TC Electronics blurb here. Cheapest I've found is £129, I'd like £100 posted 2nd class. Cheers Gareth
 13.
give it my favourite P-bass vibe with a white P-bass pickup, white scratch plate, Lake Placid Blue body and maple fingerboard.
Sounds funky Phil, especially the maple fretless board. What colour hardware, chrome I assume if going for a white pickup?
 14.
Well I haven't finalised a sale and are you wanting both cabs or a single
I'd be interested in the two, and I'd collect.
 15. Hi Barrie This is a subject close to my heart, and I have gone for a really acoutsic, organic tone over the last couple of years.
Godin perhaps, even though it is more semi acoustic? I would imagine even in a fully acoustic set, you're going to need amplification of some sort. With all the will in the world, and acoustic bass isn't very bassy without it!
+ 1 to this. I have a beautiful hand made fretted 5 string by Brook Guitars down in Devon. It's a serious high end bass and has the most stunning flamed myrtle back and side. It copes very well against two unamplified guitars when played with a pick, and has a pickup in it as well so I can use it "plugged" but still have the acoustic look. If you want something that has a good acoustic vibe but is more like an electric to play then a Godin or any decent hollowbody would serve you well. I had a fretless Godin briefly and, while it was a bit of a one trick pony, it did that trick very well! However if you really want to splash the cash something like my Veillette Archtop fretless would do the job very well indeed. And then, if you just want to look acoustic, a solid body made to look like an ABG is an option, just like the Samick that has just sold in the For Sale section. Cheers Gareth
