1. Hi everyone, What do you think what basses are mostly versatile?MTD's and Sadowsky's are fantastic sounding and built instruments and it would be very hard to make a decision if I had to choose.Unfortunately I never had a chance to compare these basses side by side.I'm pretty sure Sadowskys are perfect for any style but how about MTD basses?I have hardly heard rock musicians to talk about MTD's however I am sure they are top basses and fit in any genre.Could you share your experiences? Thanks
2. I tried Bacchus basses in Muzzikmesse Frankfurt few years ago.One of the best jazzes I've ever played specially for this price.Handmade very precise work, fantastic sound and it is same quality like some Fender Custom Shops. This instrument is real a bargain!
3. remember this from glory days and still gives me the same feeling.fantastic song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yh1mMjsPGjo

8. Hello everyone, I'm obsessed with cool Fender jazz basses. However I played and owned some fantastic modern 4 and 5 strings instruments I always go back to Fender jazzes.Has anyone tried to compare a 64 Custom Shop jazz and a 50th anniversary model? If so,what is your experience? I have read many comments on Talkbass and reviews on Harmony Central. Most of them are saying that a 64 CS is far more the best Fender and no comparison with other also top jazzes. So if you have any opinion could you share them with me? Thanks
9. That's one of the coolest combination I'd say!I use an Epifani UL410 which is great with my Aguilar SC500,but since I tried DB cabs 10 and 12 inches as well I can't stop thinking about a full Aggie rig.Wish I could get 2x212 DB's,but I think I have to compromise somewhere between portability and loud gigging rig. What if I combine a 210 and a 212 cab (both 8 ohms of course)?I could get a combined 10 and 12 inches perfect bass sound. For rehearse I would take just a 210,for a loud gig I could use both (210 + 212) cab.Has anyone tried this combination before?
10. Guess there's no large gig for this monster.I just wish to have it,and blow away heads Good luck with the sale
11. Killer bass you got mate! The funny thing is, my car falling apart and I still keep browsing this forum torturing myself with these cool instruments.I wish I could get another bass instead of spending money on a f...ing car haha... Good luck with the sale! What a bargain for this beauty!!!!!
12. I've heard a very exciting combination with 2x10 and 2x12 inches speakers in one cab and sounded amazing.Check Schroeder cabs mate
13.
I'm so sorry to gloat - but I'm loving this bass! Can't believe there are so few Clovers around.
Few dealers still sell it but their price is a bit steep for me.Trying to get it from some german website.Good luck with it mate, and all the best. You had a good deal and you've got good eyes, ears to judge basses
14. Finally managed to sell my stingray and got the fund.I wish I've had this deal earlier then this clover would be mine
15. Hi everyone! I use a tone hammer with my 75 jazz reissue. The problem is I have to buy two 9 volt batteries every week.I just did 3 rehearses with my tone hammer and batteries already dead (two 9 volt duracell). Now ordered a standard 18v 2.1 mm (-) DC power supply and this adaptor definitely does the job.But still worrying a bit about circuit. Does anyone use Aguilar Tone Hammer with batteries? And ever has experienced similar things with it?If your Agi preamp also loves eating duracells please let me know. Thanks a lot
16. Hi all! Has anyone heard about Fender American Deluxe 2010 Jazz is discontinued now? Hopefuly not
17. Hey Nick, A year ago when I was after a new cab I tried few top ranges.GS410 was one of the best sounding cab i've ever played.Quite heavy but worth to get one.I can imagine how terribly good combination would be an 8ohm GS410 with a GS 212 or a 115.Don't hesitate if it's an Aguilar! Good luck

21. Nordy jazz 4 and 5 are on the top no doubt. And Bacchus japanese basses are amazing too.
22. I bought an American vintage 75 Ri jazz, and changed the bridge for a badass ll,and strung with DR MM fat beams. The sound is unbelievable.Didn't want to change the original tone and just bought an Aguilar tone hammer (still testing it so finger crossed).Amazing combination! Few weeks ago tried a new american deluxe jazz 2010 and its playability and sound very nice I want one!I wish i had the chance to try the 50th anniversary too.I guess that 50th ann would be the point in my life when I lose my mind
23. Hi everyone, Recently I'm after a good envelope filter and an octaver.Last year in Frankfurt at Musikmesse tried EBS pedals and really loved their sound, but I've heard many good things about MXR and although I never had a chance to try but seriously interested in them as well.Has anyone experienced both branch and can compare them against each other? Cheers

MXR El Grande
Anyone tried one? I got a Blowtorch a little while ago, but it's not quite what I was after. The El Grande seems to be a bit more up my street. Anything to be aware of, etc?
Hi On you tube Ed Friedland demonstrate many stuff and do an El Grande bass fuzz video as well. Good video, and Ed a really great and helpful guy. Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6d9YzoCx3w
25.
I don't normally use pedals, just occasionally my trusty old Aria Chorus, but it died yesterday!! I also tried a Basspod, but hated it... Way too digital and complicated and nothing on the floor to kick! I am thinking of buying a new multi effect, mainly for a bit of chorus, octaver and some echo/looping. I don't really want to spend hundreds, as it don't think I'll get full value from it, what should I buy??
Hi there I use a Boss GT10b and I can tell its absolutely great.Rock solid, tons of useful sounds. All I need recently just a good octaver, auto wah,and distortion sometimes. So I can't use its full potential but it's a fun experimenting with it.Before I bought it I didnt really trust digital sounds but this is great and easy to use.A brand new would cost you around 400£ but second hand you can get it far more cheaper in mint condition.Worth to try it!
