1.
Already done it
This looks way better than a standard Stingray 5 with elongated pickguard .I just wish they make the classic 5 with HS configuration. And congratulation!!This is one of the best looking vintage basses
2. My thought is that neither Lakland nor Sandberg etc...sound like a Musicman, simply because the humbucker positioned closer to the bridge. They got more upper midrange and bit more defined tone but sounds thinner than a Bongo or Stingray.Lakland 55-94,55-02 and 55-14 for me is a jazz plus.Great jazz sounds and a bit more with dual coils, but if you want that distinctive growly deep MM tone buy a Musicman. Both basses are excellent species though.Keep it mind,US Laklands hold their resale value just as Musicmans.Asian made basses, even if they are excellent instruments, do not really.
3. I like their Rock Light Dust Star album, still don't get why it was not popular and only sold few copies. Maybe their time is over? You can't bring back the 90's. Radio hits today different, people listening some strange mixture of 'boring singer-songwriters with lame cheesy hiphop guys' and 'musically zero "star" DJ's with teenager pop queens' ......Sad,no demand in the mainstream media for some quality music
4. I had one in black and it was worth every penny. It was so versatile!Stunning design, precise crafmanship, german quality
5. Once you get a Sad addiction is guaranteed.Standards stiil have the full size body which I like👍
6. I had one of these back in 2010 and it was an absolute outstanding quality.Typical german thing, precisely made boutique bass for a fracture of a boutique price👍
7. God!This looks the same that David Dyson played around the early 2000's Hope you dont mind a little sound sample😃 http://youtu.be/8Lqfy4LyNqA
8. This is a really crazy price for a top bass like this. There are some videos by Jross on Youtube if any of you want to hear this beauty. http://youtu.be/cTx8EgKUSDY Anyway,is the laminated neck quarter or flat sawn?
9. I've got the Metro version and cant put it down. One of the best sounding basses I've played so far.Anyone gets this, gonna make a great deal!NYC Sadowskys have chambered body and graphite bars for added stability in the neck. This is a beauty!
10. I think this deposit with Paypal sounds ok and of course we must clarify every details about deal and transaction. Cheers guys!
11. Thanks, I'm thinking to buy a cool stuff from Europe. Usually when I buy something I try, so this would be a new thing for me.
12. Hi Bchatters, Could you tell me the process about a deal when somebody buys a bass from another country? I know it is mostly about trust and I'm asking with all respect to our community which I am proud to be a member of. How can you make sure about a smooth deal and what guarantee can you get when transfer money from your account to the seller? Thanks
13. Jeezz!best sounding jazz I have ever heard
14. Had one of these in jet black. Incredibly good basses
15. These are superb quality. I had a Clover Avenger 5, never had to adjust the neck, neck pocket was the tightest I ever seen, soundwise incredibly versatile, its playability just ridiculous . Anyone buy this, it's gonna be a great deal!
16. Hi Bchaters, Has anyone tried the latest Epifani UL3 410 cab? How does it sound comparing to its predecessor UL410 2?I know it is not a neo cab and Nick Epifani (just like Jim Bergantino etc..) moved back to ceramic speakers since neodymium has become crazy expensive. So new line of Epifani with ceramic still the same soundwise or not? Any thoughts, experiences would be appreciated. Thanks
17. Just checked Dingwall 's website and the specs shows they only put carbon fiber rods in 5 strings. Never have played these but I guess they are new stage of bass innovations.Fantastic looking instrument ,good luck with the sale
18. Hi, I am after a good home practice amp and hesitating between a Roland Micro Cube and a Fender Bronco 40. Could any of you guys tell me what would be the best option regarding sound quality, effects etc....? I know the Roland has an inbuilt drum machine but the Fender might sounds better.I would go with the better sounding amp definitely as drum machine downloads are available now from even smartphones. Cheers

20. Hi fellow Bchatters, I keep browsing American websites and could cry if i think about getting a bass from there but massive VAT and customs have to put me off all the time when making rough calculations.Even with shipping costs an MTD 535 could be much more cheaper than here for example but all these added costs kill the idea. Has anyone ordered a bass from the US?I'd be happy if you share your experiences with me Cheers
21.
Sorry to sidetrack but is there a new cheaper USA MTD 535?
This US MTD 535 on the video is around 3500$ (with some fancy top and another extras they around 4500$)
22. Thanks guys it really helps! At the moment I'm hesitating between these two (just should make some funds first of all ).Quite hard to find an MTD (I dont know if there's any dealer in the UK though)and Sadowskys are only available in London stores.I found that Sados are perfect instruments but I just want to try an MTD before take the plunge. Specially now as I found a cheaper version of a US MTD 535. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4RF_Dap_kM
