1. Is Ray Brown still available?
2. I bought a set of jazz knobs last week and they're too small to fit the stems on my bass. They're the standard looking black ones. Looking to sell posted for a fiver or trade for some bigger ones! Cheers Matt
3. Yeah just a passive bass, will try swapping out my cables and testing it with different cabs. Will let you know how I get on, cheers!!
4. PM'd, cheers
5. Any chance I could get a wee looky at some parts?? I'm looking for anything bass clef to practice my reading on
6. Hey there, I'm currently gigging through a Profet 5.1 and the old Warwick 211 cab. The last few gigs the volume has occasionally faded in and out which I was blaming on dodgy patch leads in my new pedal board I put together. At my last gig on the weekend the volume cut out completely so I took the lead from my bass straight into the amp, bypassing all my pedals but the problem continued! For the full hour long first set the volume came and went but the sound was consistently weaker than usual anyway. For the second set, everything was working as per usual! No volume swells, no cutting out. Is this more likely to be my head or my cab? Or have I just got too small of a cab for the head? My amps had some pretty heavy treatment over the last few years with about an average 5-6hours gigging usage a week, does it all just need a good service? Hope I can get this sorted before next weekend!! Cheers

8.
Well its not me paying, its the company and thats the general rate for such things, and many a great musician does it. You also get your flights paid for and your board, excellend 24hr food and use of all the facilities, free tours around all the great places you get to visit and alot of free time. Crew prices on all the drinks and duty free shops etc. Use of the companys backline, no setting up or breaking down gear, pro sound guys and techs. No travelling (apart from being on a ship of course) Alot of great musicians who play one nighters at home work alot harder and often struggle for steady work. Ive done both and Im an accomplished guitarist vocalist and I enjoy working these contracts, as do the rest of the band. Anyway going by the response we've had there are plently of options for us, we have 2 full days of auditions coming up of the best players who have applied. If you make more than that playing full time Jeffe then good for you... dont apply. :-) Anyway Im lowballing the figure, theres still a negotiation... chances are itll be more than that. Thanks for all who applied, keep em coming if youre interested. :-)
Burn!!!
9. Yeah that's a cool site While were on it, I'm doing a bit of interval training too and I find it much easier if I've got a song to relate it too, so far all I've got is... Tone - Autumn Leaves 5th - Star Wars Octave - Over The Rainbow Anybody help with the others? Cheers!
10. Thanks!
11. Nice one mate, where did you get your bits from? The pedal casing etc? Cheers!

18. Hey there, I'm looking for a pedal that I can use to blend the signal of two other pedals together. I know the Boss Line Selector can do it on "A-B MIX / BYPASS" It's got a lot of functions I don't want though so was wondering if there's anything more basic and a bit cheaper out there? Thanks!
19. Just found this http://www.maplin.co.uk/rugged-case-large-225744 Gonna pick one up today, looks like just the trick! Will post photos when I'm makin my board
20. If you can find a guitarpro tab of it you can transpose them into other keys
21. Do you have a case for it? I'm in the market for a new board and I'm thinking about making my own but need to make it van proof!
