  1. I'll check. It's the back of the bridge I'm struggling with. Gonna give them a final try now! Fingers crossed!
  2. Or I'd swap for some Deep Talkin' Flats with an E string with gauge of 105 nothing higher as I might encounter the same problem. Cheers
  3. Bought some LaBella strings. They were here that day I'd sent payment. Super fast! Thanks John
  4. Had a very brief play on this and its super comfortable ( kinda forgot it was a 5'er) and a very up front jazz tone - Burpy like it had just shotgunned a can of fizzy pop... Did I mention the neck is sublime?

  6. I run a phat phuk and and ODB-3 together - you get the big germanium bottom from the PPb and then the ODB3 drive sitting on top and of course the ability to drop one or t'other out as the song required. I like it but maybe not quite as full on as your set up It was a great day discovering that sound!

  8. Cheers for the input and the castors suggestion. I was after a trolley to get the bass amp to local gigs via bus so I wheel up to the bus, fold it up the walk the short walk to the pubs I'll mainly be gigging in. My trolley has been ordered online and I should have it in a few days! Thanks again fella's! G

  10. Yeah my system is search on Amazon, read the reviews and then buy it on ebay
  11. Thinking about getting a trolley for wheeling a heavy trace 115 around. What are people using? Seen a magna cart on amazon and some general luggage trolleys. I'd appreciate your collective pros and cons for kit you have experience with. Thanks
  12. The Will Power Dimarzio is good too. More bottom and mids than a SD1/4 lb'er and more prominent in a live mix to my ears. A bit more punch without the harsh top end I found with the SD. If you like that sort of thing!
  13. Laid back and super eas to deal with.....well I would say that he's one of the Clan!
  14. Pain free transaction. Nothing to see here!
  15. Got a will power pick up which was unopened! Easy transaction and good comms. Buy sell trade with confidence!
  16. I can second the quality of John's work! His approach to p/g wiring should be the industry standard though DiMarzio are doing the solder-less thing now.
  17. bump The wires on this have loads of life - it was fitte to a clever little terminal box so the haven't actually been soldered! Upgrade your bass today for little money. Comes boxed with instructions!
  18. You should try and get some sound clips up. I'd appreciate hearing this little beast at work ....bump!
  19. Bump Still willing to accept trades preferably more vintage sounding p/u. Cheers
  20. Up for grabs as we are retiring our lease on the practice room and I'll not have the space/need for this bad boy. Bought as my practice room head and has been 100% reliable. Some great tones lurking within and the ability to store them and recall then is very handy (especially as we had 3 different bassist who were constantly tweaking the amps!) Makes huge output on tap and I never struggled to be heard at gigs or rehersal. £180 and I'm happy to split postage with the buyer. Available to demo in Edinburgh before the practice room shuts! Pic's tomorrow!
