  1. I bought mine from Bass Direct several years ago. They might be able to order one in. I customised mine beyond recognition with a Mike Pope preamp, upgraded Bartolini pickups and Hipshot hardware. I also took a router to it and changed the pickup positions and installed Luminlay dot markers on the fingerboard and side of the neck. You wouldn't recognise it as the same bass.
  2. I have a 6 string MTD Kingston. Lovely bass.
  3. sfx micro-Thumpinator v2 - £90 Delivered in UK. In pristine condition. No original box but that was just a generic cardboard one anyway. Will be well packed for shipping. Purchased directly from sfx sound in November 2024. Potential buyers are welcome to try out in Glasgow. https://sfxsound.co.uk/microThumpinator/
  4. Alan bought a Caveman pedal from me. Paid immediately and it was a great experience. Thanks Alan.
  5. Becos CompIQ MINI Pro Compressor - £140 £130 Delivered in UK. In brand new condition with box. Purchased from Joe's Pedals in May this year. I love compressors and like to try as many as possible. This one is fantastic and gives my favoured Keeley Compressor Pro a real run for the money. Once I dialled in my settings I couldn't tell them apart. The Becos is much cheaper and has several additional features. Potential buyers are welcome to try out in Glasgow. https://becosfx.com/product/compiq-mini-pro-compressor-pedal-for-guitar-bass/#description https://joespedals.com/collections/pedals/products/compiq-mini-pro-compressor

  6. Quick update. I love this bass so much I have just placed an order for a 4 string, 21 fret German Metroline. I am also in the process of agreeing the spec for an NYC. The Metroline is a catalogue item so should be ready much more quickly this time. I have been quoted 4-6 months. I've been quoted a year for the NYC.
  7. Thanks. I have a few preamps I will be putting up for sale over the next few days.
  8. Caveman Audio BP1 Compact - £350 Delivered in UK. In new condition with box. Purchased from Bass Direct in May this year. I have several preamps and am having a long overdue clearout. https://www.caveman-audio.com/products/bp1c/ Potential buyers are welcome to try out in Glasgow.
  9. Sushi Box FX Grand Slampegg with NOS Valve - £350Delivered in UK. Purchased direct from Sushi Box at the beginning of the year. Boxed and in mint condition. I replaced the valve with a JAN TUNG SOL Black Glass NOS valve which was highly recommended by B15 enthusiasts at an additional cost of £75. https://www.sushiboxfx.com/product/grand-slampegg/ https://www.langrex.co.uk/products/6sl7gt-vt229-jan-tung-sol-black-glass-nos-valve-tube-lc30/ It is a beautiful pedal but I don't have room for it on my pedalboard so it has seen little use as my main preamp is a Caveman Audio BP1. Potential buyers are welcome to demo in Glasgow.
  10. I wanted a Metroline with a vintage body and a 24 fret neck. They didn’t do this in left handed so it had to be a custom order. At the time they quoted a timescale just over three years. I’d expected to receive the bass in February and it finally arrived in July. I ordered through Wunjo who were superb throughout the entire process.
  11. Sorry to say I do have an Eames chair (reproduction) 😂
  12. After a wait of nearly four years my Sadowsky Metroline was delivered this week. It was a custom order as they didn't do a left hander with this specification. I think they have added it to the catalogue now though. Initial impressions are very good and it is slightly lighter than my four string Fender jazz.
  13. I've just today paid for my custom German Sadowsky which has finally arrived after 3 years wait otherwise I'd be all over a few of these.
  14. I have decided to keep this and move back to my larger pedal board to accommodate it. It is just too good to give up.
  15. Sushi Box FX Grand Slampegg with NOS Valve - £400 £370 Delivered in UK.
  16. I bought this from them a month ago and returned it. The truss rod is broken. I got a very expensive quote to have it repaired but decided to return it. They did offer to let me keep it for a nominal sum but I really don't need an unplayable bass lying about the house. Shame as it was in otherwise great condition.
  17. You always have such unusual and interesting basses.
  18. I have its little brother the Minnow and love it. This is a superb bit of kit at a very good price. GLWTS.
  19. I played a Wal for over 30 years. It was pretty much my first bass. In all that time I never played a Fender. I got a Jazz a few years ago and absolutely love it and can’t believe it took me so long to discover. Mind you I had it PLEKd, fitted a new nut, changed the pickups, electronics, bridge and machine heads to make it my perfect bass. 😂😂
  20. Any bass in left handed. 🤨
