  1. What the bleedin’ Nora is that?
  2. Not quite - this is the late 90’s bbg5s or bbn5a or whatever they called it. Its got a smaller body than the traditional BB basses - they’re ok, I had a 4 string in the same finish. Theyre well made and balance well. They’re just a bit bland. But for £150, a very respectable bass.
  3. Not really...after the pennies to finish a bass purchase
  4. Yeah, no idea why I like that. Bet it’s not cheap...
  5. Two of these and that head...that’s what I was going on about in the eBay thread. bluddeh ‘ell.
  6. Righto... I got these 2 years ago to replace some old Sony headphones. They're lovely and comfortable, they sound ace. They’ve received many favourable reviews and plaudits. Obviously they’re linked to the Ashdown bass amps company. Noice cancelling, flat or eq modes are on offer. To use the eq/Noise cancellation you have to charge them up as with other headphones of this type. They were £300 when released, and have now moved to a Bluetooth version for £300, some sets of pink/white are still listed at £200. I’ve used these about 20 times in 2 years as I haven’t had much time. they come in a nice case and with cables/adapters. In the original box, not 1000% sure I have every cable tie and bag it came with. But 1000% sure I have everything they actually need. Will ship in UK for £5, or you’re welcome to collect from M27. £75, not the £150 on listing (I do wish that could be edited) been reliably informed that there are some “new/refurbished” sets on eBay for £150 so...£75
  7. Think that’s a language barrier thing.
  8. I’ve asked what the Warmoth connection is.
  9. Hnnnnnggggh 😳😳😳😫🤪🧐😟🥺😩🤤
  10. That’s really pretty. Was thinking the other day how I miss my old Hofner Cavern Violin bass...I sold it the second someone said “ooh, you like macca then?” the Club was what I was thinking...but this is lovely. will have to hold of while I settle up on another Yamaha...but will be watching
  11. I’d love two of these, cleaned up as a mini stack with an old TE250/300w head to match. Just a nod to where I started with amps. Thinking next year will see something valves and Ashdown in fancy tolex (their acoustic amps are brown tooled Paisley tolex...🤔)
  12. Love BB, ever since I saw “Standing in the shadows of Motown...” what a guy! Anyhow, shocked that I didn’t hear MG’s estate suing the donkey off Radiohead...”drunken punchup at a wedding” is a direct lift for feel...if not notes...although it’s bloody close.
  13. Aww no way I could’ve sworn @three would’ve bought this by now!?
  14. He’d know more than the bloke doing it now...
  15. Aha!
  16. Yeah...it’s all a bit muddy when you go looking 🤷🏻‍♂️
  17. Prawnographic! I’d have one of these, got tempted a few times when they were more readily available. Alas, I’m overly involved with Yamaha basses at the moment and have one with a remaining balance to sort 😳
  18. Hope there’s not a hole in that logic...
  19. I’d forgotten about this @ped - need to discuss another loan...😉
  20. Hmm. The original status/trace t-bass was more fender esque than I remember. hides all that gubbins round the back.
  21. To be fair, if I had £750 spare, that would be right up my street. Bloody gorgeous
  22. It’s gotten unhealthy. Now exploring attitude basses...
  23. I like them
  24. If that were a 414wr, I’d be at your door. FIT!
