Well! Yup. i have 1 of the small BB knobs too, in a draw somewhere. Spotted one was pretty cracked.

The good thing is that the 35DC size has sort of become a bit of a “standard” size… Aguilar Duncan Nordstrand all seem to do that size. Snappy/Bright suggest that something single coil might help. Or at least something you can split the coils on if you want. if it plays well, and you like it…worth the outlay. Especially as Lefty’s are a bit weak on choice for nice basses. The Fame ones seem to vary in price - if I rightly recall, a few have sold here.

There’s a yamaha bb1024 in caramel for £450, think that’s on Facebook - that might be here too. Thats a belting price. Theres also a Bb1100s on these pages - think you’d be hard pressed to beat either.

I just buy stuff I fancy, and if it doesn’t work out I just move it on. Dont really get sentimental over gear. If it’s not going to get used regularly, i move it on.
