1. To the top again and a price drop to £900. If it doesn't move now I think I'll keep it...
  2. Now prepared to listen to any offers including p/x. Fretless could be nice...also studio gear inc decent preamp, sound modules etc...
  3. Thanks Ped . Still available - open to offers. Any interest?
  4.
If I wasn't so taken with my Nordy I'd buy this back! A great bass and Steve is a fantastic guy to do business with
Thanks - it really is lovely. Wish I didn't have to move something to do other things but that's life... If I don't get any offers on this I'll withdraw it soon as I'm changing my mind constantly
  5.
It looks like a part of you floor
Lol, no, it's not my floor....it's one of the photos the original seller took..... ...my floor look much worse
  6. Hello All, After much debate (with myself) I've decided to put this gorgeous bass up for sale. Frankly, I don't want to sell it but I need to fund other things so have come to the conclusion that something has to give... I paid the asking price for this one (was looking for a Bacchus for some time when I saw this and didn't want to miss it) however, since it's arrived it's done 2 recording sessions and 3 rehearsals but has stayed at home in its case apart from this. I'm looking for the same as when I got it (£1000) and would prefer not to post if possible - do ask though, worst I can say is no . Can easily deliver in London / Kent / Surrey / Essex area. Condition is the same as when recieved with slight buckle rash being the only real concern (and it's not so bad) the hard case is also included. For details and pics I'm linking TKenrick's original post below. Hope he doesn't mind - it says everything and even has video! Any questions feel free to ask. 7.
I did this with my nice top Sei Jazz5.. i regretted it ever since... just a pause for thought..
This beautiful thing used to be mine - I actually had it built by Sandberg myself and even chose the wood and neck while I was visiting them in their factory in Germany. I often have that "pause for thought" since it left... It is the only one of it's type in existence from what i'm aware - a little bit more custom shop than their usual production models. Even the pictures I took previously don't do it justice, it looks so much better in the flesh. However, you can find links to those previous pics here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=69767&hl= Can't say enough good things about Sandbergs. My main is still a Sandberg 5 string UMBO relic which is positively fantastic. Henrik and the guys at Sandberg are fantastic people too. Also, Thom is a great guy to deal with. Good luck with the trade! /Steve
  8. For the sake of the small pictures (which don't show this off enough) I believe this is the same bass on a previous thread. Definitely worth it - looks fantastic. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=94766&hl=Zoot
Really sorry guys, no trades. I have just bought eubassix's Vigier Arpege fretless and need the cash ! Appreciate the positive comments anyway !
Completely understand. It is beautiful though and would go a long way to completing my Sandberg family. Think I will send you a PM....

    That is sooooo tempting.....ouch!
  12.
Afraid that may have gone to the first interested.... Will let you know on Monday if thats alright, Russell.
Ok, no probs - let me know.....
  13. Hiya, I'll take the Messdrive - I've sent you a PM
  14. I used to have a jazz bass with EMG's and I miss it badly... the pickups in that really made a difference. I also had a Fernandes P-Bass with EMG's before that and that was a pretty decent upgrade also.
  15.
I don't believe it! Another MM owner..and I thought I was the only one in the flippin' country who thought they sounded (and looked) superb. Mine's bubinga faced. Steve
Wow - not only that but both the MM owners in the country are called Steve lol. I only just noticed my spelling mistake in the original post too..... The Bubinga's are beautiful also....
  16. Can't go wring with Sandbergs in my opinion - here's one of mine.....
  17.
That's a seriously nice looking bass. Is it one of the Panther range? I've always had a thing for Sandbergs, but never had one yet...
Thanks - glad you like it! It's actually the same body they use for the California JM's and PM's but with the different pickup configuration. They don't usually make em with maple boards either..... I can only say good things about sandbergs, every one I've tried has been killer - I've got 2 now and they do pretty much anything I need....gotta save up and get a fretless though....
  18. Hi All, Just thought i'd post some pics (even though they don't do it justice) of my new Sandberg - she is absolutely gorgeous and a joy to play.....think I'll need another one pretty soon!
  19.
If they make a higher wattage version i'd be interested. The TC I tested was excellent, very well built. I just want a few extra watts.
How many more watts are you after? You could also link 2 heads if you wanted to. Cheers, Steve
  20. Thanks for the comments guys.....appreciate the acceptance of drivel
  21. Hi All, I've been hanging around this forum for quite some time ( I spend far too much time in the basses for sale area....) and just wanted to make my prescence a little more official. I've been playing bass for about 12 years now and have been in several bands here and in Australia where I lived previously for 18 years. I love the instrument and all sorts of music from jazz to death metal and have played most on bass or on drums (my former instrument). I've done a fair bit of musical training and nearly completed my jazz degree on drums but had to find a way to earn some money in amongst all the fun...... Currently I own a Yamaha BB604 / Tune TWB6 and shortly I will be getting myself a Sandberg JM5 - then I will get rid of the 604 even though I love it and we've been through some hard times together..... Now I live in London, do a fair bit of recording in my home studio and work for TC Electronic as their European MI sales manager which means I get to use the amps we have made. Even without being a part of the company I would have to say they are fantastic. I am still looking for the right band project at the moment as work has taken up most of my time for the last 2 years...anyone need something which I might be interested in? Looking forward to being involved in this forum a bit more and hopefully buying some of the basses that keep giving me GAS in the marketplace..... Cheers for now! Steve
