Basically looking for a MM Ray 2 pup version, Bongo 2 pup version or maybe a fretless Lightwave VL. I'll only consider 5 string models and only interested in red, black, natural or maybe White. Scale is 34", not sure enough on what woods are used to say 100%. Electrics are a 3 band, 2 MM style pups. I live close to J25 on the M1, interested parties are welcome to come and try it out. I won't post something so nice. [/quote] This beautiful thing used to be mine - I actually had it built by Sandberg myself and even chose the wood and neck while I was visiting them in their factory in Germany. I often have that "pause for thought" since it left... It is the only one of it's type in existence from what i'm aware - a little bit more custom shop than their usual production models. Even the pictures I took previously don't do it justice, it looks so much better in the flesh. ThomBassmonkey Posted August 15, 2011 Author Share Posted August 15, 2011 Because I want quite specific things, if I sell this for cash I could be left without a backup bass for a while before something comes up for sale that I'd take. If someone's interested in selling a bass I'd be interested in, I'd happily take part in a 3 way trade though. I.e. If you wanted to buy this and someone else was interested in selling their bongo, you could give the cash to the bongo owner and take this and I'd take the bongo if that makes sense. But it'd require the right people interested. If anyone is interested in doing that, let me know and if I get a buyer and a seller interested, I'll put them in contact with each other. There's no others 2nd hand to compare it to though since Sandberg mostly seem to appear in their generic JM or PM models rather than proper customs.
