1.
Sorry Jay, not really into fretless basses. Out of curiosity, how much would postage be on this?
Postage would be around £50 due to the weight and size of the flight case. If only there was an easier way of getting this bad boy around...
2. Fancy a trade for my balloon bass? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0ydPW7vgTw
3. Somebody must have a lonely walkabout combo? Or require a beast of a 1x12?
4. Mesa Boogie 12'' Scout extension cabinet in the rare 8ohm flavour. This is a truly exceptional cab and can quite happily keep up with an excitable drummer. Combine that with it's compact size and very manageable weight, and you're on to a winner. The 10” “Down-Firing” Passive Bass Radiator on these cabs really is effective, and I've found this to be the only 1x12'' cab I've used that's usable on its own. 5. I bought the bass a few years ago from a session player who was clearing out his Fender collection. He had a number of original early 60's guitars and basses (that were out of my price range at the time), and this bass that was constructed from parts he had accumulated over the years. The only bits I can confirm are early 60's Fender are the tuners the bridge and the neckplate. The neck has clay dots and some fairly substantial wear, but the lack of a date stamp means that it's age is unknown. The body has been refinished in Sonic blue at some point, and has endured a fair amount of wear. It also has no signs of a date stamp for obvious reasons. The control plate is modern and contains CTS pots and a switch craft jack. The pickups are of unknown origin but are also well worn. This bass really needs to be seen in the flesh to be appreciated. It's not an immaculate original instrument, but it is a great player with a serious amount of character. For anyone looking for a Jazz that is a bit different, come and check it out. Weight 9 - 9.5 lbs. I'm after £600 with a new Hiscox flight case, but I may consider trades.
6. I'm putting my Epifani UL2 310 up for sale as I need to free-up some space. The cab is only a few months old (latest series 2 model), and has been gigged around 10 times. It pretty much ticks all the boxes in that it's light (one hand carry if your back works as it should/ you're not a girl), compact and hugely loud. It would seem the Gallery are currently selling them for £849 here I'm after £450 Located in Canterbury, Kent. 7. I've recently sold a Stingray to Andy, and can confirm that he is a gent and a pleasure to deal with. One of the smoothest transactions I've had on Basschat - Recommended!
8. I've got one of these. It's easily the best head I've used, and I've had a few! This is a bargain.

12. Selling my Multidrive as I rarely use it. Here's the gumf - ''The EBS MultiDrive is a ”Class A” overdrive pedal, capable of producing sustain, overdrive and many other useful ”tube amp” distortion sounds. Spice up your sound! The mode switch selects classic, vintage or modern overdrive type sounds. This is the pedal to spice up your sustain! The 2008 edition uses true bypass techniques. Improvements with the new edition: 3 dB higher headroom New analog circuitry with higher dynamics and lower noise. Mechanical True Bypass switching'' I'm after £90 posted within the UK

16. I might be having a mad moment, but I'll consider a trade for an upright bass of some description on this.
17.
What's the nut width on this?
It's roughly half way between my Jazz and Stingray in terms of width, but a little deeper/fatter in profile. I'm currently without a measuring device but I'll find out the exact width asap.
18. So, who wants to join P-bass big school?
