JV fans, can anyone explain the difference between my bass and the one for sale here? https://reverb.com/item/23944001-fender-62-reissue-jazz-bass-jv-1983-white-japan-import I thought the 'Fender' labelled JV basses were the very first models made in late '82 before moving on to the Squier logo in early '83? The bass on reverb appears to be a Fender with a JV serial number and yet was made a couple of months after my bass?

This was sold but is now available again for the absolute bargain price of £600. These are around £1300 new 🙌🏻 My rather special MIJ Aria Pro II RSB 1500 is up for grabs (to be followed shortly by some other basses). These are fairly new on the scene and are essentially a high grade super-jazz. Think Sadowsky Metro and you won't be far off. This particular colour, See-through pink as it's known is only available on the Japanese Market. It's lightweight (3.9kg/8.6lb), sounds fantastic and uses high grade hardware and materials throughout. Official spec Body: Quilted Maple Top, Ash Back Neck: Maple 1P, Bolt-On Fingerboard: Maple Frets: 24F Scale: 864mm Nut width: 40mm Pickups: AJJ-1 x 2 Controls: Volume, Balancer, Treble, Bass Machineheads: GOTOH GB1 Bridge: GOTOH J510SJ Hardware: Chrome

MIJ Squier JV Jazz in amazing condition! This bass was made on 23rd Mar 1983 and has been extremely well looked after in its life. It's all original minus the neck volume pot which has been replaced at some point. The neck is an absolute dream, the small vintage frets and the radius of the dark Rosewood board make it a pleasure to play. The pickups sound full and punchy and can do everything from zingy slap to full on funk on the bridge pickup. These basses really do deserve the hype, they are beautiful instruments that capture that pre CBS magic at a fraction of the cost.

Andy/Shambo recently purchased my Fender Mustang and it was a thoroughly pleasant affair. Deal in confidence. Hope you're still loving it, mate 👍🏻

Best bass combo ever. This one is in great condition and works perfectly. To the uninitiated, it's as close to an all-valve sound as a hybrid amp gets. It's compact, lightweight, beautifully designed and outrageously loud and 'full' sounding. It also has a whisper quiet fan (noisy fans are common with these amps), which is nice. It comes with the Mesa ext. cab cover so the handle hole is in a different place, but still does a sterling job.
