Next up is my Moon JJ4 from 1999. This bass is an absolute stunner that incorporates beautiful woods, great (Moon branded) hardware, top notch build quality and the much sort after Moon Blackbird preamp and original Moon pickups. Needless to say It sounds amazing and plays effortlessly. The only negative is that it's had a thumb rest installed at some point so there are three (no, I don't know either) additional holes between the pickups. I'm sure these could be filled by a decent luthier, or you could just fit another thumb rest. I'll be sorry to see this one go but alas, I have too many basses! It comes with an old hard case so postage isn't a problem. I'm located in Margate.

I'm offering up my beautiful short scale Fender Mustang '64 Reissue. This was made in Japan and is exceptionally well finished, in fact It's in a different league to the new American Mustang. It's super light and the 30'' scale really is a joy to play. It's in mint condition and comes with a gig bag. It's recently been setup with a new set of Dunlop Super Brights and it sounds magnificent. Collection from Margate, postage is possible.

Up next we have my Peavey Millennium Plus USA 5 string. To the uninitiated, these are very high quality instruments, and are not to be confused with the cheaper budget BXP lines. In fact I stumbled across this article from Bass Guitar Magazine, a high end 5 string shoot-out focusing on the Status Stealth, Musicman Stingray, Peavey Millennium and Lakland 55-02 Deluxe. Note the Peavey is the most expensive of the group! http://www.statii.com/status_cats/reviews/15/index.html In terms of feel I've owned USA and Skyline (Korean made) Laklands and this definitely feels and plays more in line with the USA basses. It also has equally great hardware (Hipshot USA) and electronics. I bought it to use for a project and since that finished I've not really used it. I'm after just Β£525 for the Millennium which is an absolute bargain for a bass of this calibre.

ππ» My rather special MIJ Aria Pro II RSB 1500 is up for grabs (to be followed shortly by some other basses). These are fairly new on the scene and are essentially a high grade super-jazz. Think Sadowsky Metro and you won't be far off. This particular colour, See-through pink as it's known is only available on the Japanese Market. It's lightweight (3.9kg/8.6lb), sounds fantastic and uses high grade hardware and materials throughout.
